Construction trucks leaving Bloor and Islington area after being successfully deterred from starting work on removing bike lanes in Toronto by a large protest.
@HrothgalSai i got into hockey while living in toronto so i primarily support the leafs, but i grew up in seattle and have an eternal allegiance to seattle sports and thus also root for the kraken while living in ontario! the timezones do make it hard to consistently catch games though.
i do truly wonder how much of it is people being stupid to save a minute or two, which leads to people being angry, which leads to them driving aggressively and stupidly and so on. there’s just absolutely zero courtesy in any of it. i miss seattle.
i knew the stereotypes of toronto drivers being assholes, but it’s actually indescribable until you experience it.
my second day of driving in toronto was not so fun.
@toastastri i was sitting there in a grandstand at the hairpin and listening as they said that was the wettest part of the track, and that mclaren were on inters. it was not very wet. i was so annoyed.
