அனைவரையும் உள்ளடக்கிய வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் சமூக மேம்பாட்டை முன்னெடுப்பதில் இருவருக்கும் உள்ள தீவிரமான அக்கறையை வெளிப்படுத்துவதாக இந்தச் சந்திப்பு இருந்தது.

Happy to share the dais with Union Minister Thiru @nitin_gadkari, Justice Shiva Kirti Singh, and most of all, my fellow 1987 REC-Trichy graduate, Thiru N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, at the TIOL Corporate India Awards 2025 in Mumbai.

While Sir Ratan Tata was posthumously awarded the TIOL Business Legend Award 2025, Ms. Shobhana Bhartia (in absentia), Chairperson & Editorial Director, Hindustan Times Group, was honoured with the TIOL Exemplary Business Woman Award 2025 for contributions to journalism.

In my short speech I touched on India’s growing impact on the global economy. I emphasized that while India is experiencing a moment of opportunity on the world stage, our ability to execute remains a bottleneck. There is often a gap between intent and outcome across business and government—how we navigate this administrative and outcome gap will define our future. The two recipients, each in their own way, have created exemplary organizations that can be emulated by others, and thereby accelerate India's progress.

Reflecting on my brief but memorable meeting with Sir Ratan Tata a few years ago, I recalled commending him on his keen eye for talent, given the many Tamil executives in the Tata group’s senior leadership - a testament to his deep appreciation for education, culture, and the growth of Tamil Nadu. He was extremely gracious in walking around the room to wish me well as the conversation ended, a trait that marked all his interactions as highlighted with many examples by Thiru Chandrasekaran's during his evocative speech.

அத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு (AI-Artificial intelligence) தொழில்நுட்பம் சார்ந்த பயிற்சிகளை ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் பயிலரங்கத்தை இன்று தொடங்கிவைத்தோம்.
