You must never give another human the satisfaction of seeing you in pain.

Just saw a recent video of Woke Soyinka. His afro, now grey, is a shadow of what it used to be. His face, his skin, his gait... all a reflection of his age.
Aging is such a blessing and yet humbling experience.

Imo the saddest truth about life is that it's unfair.
You cannot pick and choose the circumstances you're born into, and these circumstances mostly determine how your life turns out forever.
I think a major part of adulting is being able to pick and choose what experiences to either participate in or not. Without needing to explain yourself to anyone.
