i also felt like we read abt stuff that happened offpage and it was supposed to count as development. everything worth reading was skimmed over as inner dialogue. birdie was a side character in his own book. and it all felt like a setup for the next book which i believe is #eliot

loathed love was a mess and that’s truly all I have to say on that.. i don’t for one second believe audrey was healed guy was justly punished or that there were any true substance to audreybirdies relationship.

i expected them not to welcome him w open arms, but idg why the other brothers went harder on birdie than guy. the parents were no where to be found. her friendship w kinney lacked any depth. and you would never believe that ben and audrey used to be the closest before this.
