We then received a message at about 11:17,which was orders from the MEC that we should leave.Indeed later security was called to ensure all students are out. We were chased out like dogs at night. They promised to use paper spray on us and to drag us out should we refuse to leave

On Tuesday we had a peaceful protest, with unarmed,harmless students. They called security guards who threatened to shoot us and they used paper spray on us. Mind you we were having a peaceful protest, with no intentions of harming anyone or anything , just a talk with the MEC!

We call out as students at Cedara College. We have been patient for quite some time , but we have run out of patience. The conditions we live in are terrible. The hostel is incomplete and not safe for people to be living there. #cedarinsdeservebetter
