Mrs Cedar lost her Yorkie yesterday - Pooh was a five year cancer survivor. She passed away unexpectedly after falling asleep in my wife’s arms just before 6 PM.

If you wrote a script of tbe perfect life for a little 4 pound dog I could not think of a thing that was left out.

Our White Guy Wednesday

WINNER!

Robert Lee Luther age 47

If the Meck DA doesn't slap a "Habitual Felon" charge on this guy there's no point in having the law on the books.

Time's up for reform. Obviously his past short stays in jail accomplished nothing today's arrest is on the following charges:

POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY FELON (2 Counts)
POSSESS METHAMPHETAMINE
CONSPIRE COMMIT FEL LARCENY
FELONY LARCENY
BREAKING AND OR ENTERING (F) (4 Counts)
FELONY POSSESSION SCH I CS
FELONY POSSESSION OF COCAINE (2 Counts)
FELONY LARCENY (2 Counts)
POSSESS DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
C/S-SCH II- TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE
FELONY POSSESSION SCH II CS
POSSESS METHAMPHETAMINE
POSSESS MARIJUANA UP TO 1/2 OZ
POSSESS DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPON - GUN (M)
CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPON - GUN (F)
MISDEMEANOR CHILD ABUSE (2 Counts)
LARCENY AFTER BREAK/ENTER
CONSP B&E BLDG-FELONY/LARCENY
DRIVING WHILE IMPAIRED

With 12 -prior convictions and a cumulative 9 months of jail time is up for this menace to society to change his ways.

Too harsh? Just remember these are only the crimes for which there's enough evidence to charge him, this doesn't account for the 100s of crimes and victims that are unknown.

There’s a remarkable resonance in this post that has a “certain set of skills” quality to it.

This big guy in my driveway this morning.

[Cedar Posts @CedarPosts]

@CerebralParsl3y He was close enough and this is the second time he’s stood still long enough. Normally he’s nose in the air and on the move.

[Cedar Posts @CedarPosts]

@Jolly_Jingo_250 In the city limits he’s safe from everything except traffic.

Normally I'd repost a CMPD post without a second thought.

But this is just Fvcking Nutty "targeted efforts to address quality of life concerns" seriously???

You mean like not getting shot dead in your own bed by some rando drive by and a group of teen thugs in stolen cars???

Quality of life concerns??? Is that sorta like being worried that you might get get shot and turned into a wheelchair bound member of society because some gangbanger thought the robbing a C-Store at 10:30 am was a easy target.

Quality of life concerns??? Like not getting dead by some illegal drunk teenage Chica who has never even had a driver's license yet is on I-277 at midnight going the wrong way and kills 2 people because CMPD doesn't have enough Officers to conduct traffics stops?

That kinda quality of life??? and Meaningful progress like arresting some POS who 48 hours later is back on the street and the DA dismisses the charges? Seriously that's progress?

[CMPD News @CMPD]

Operation Nite Shade continues to make meaningful progress in disrupting criminal behavior in the Sugar Creek Road and Reagan Drive corridor. Our North Tryon Division's targeted efforts to address quality of life concerns along the corridor have significantly reduced victimization and enhanced public safety in the area. Their efforts in the month of September led to:

· 56 traffic stops
· 27 arrests
· 7 illegal firearms seized
