Daycares remain open in Ontario. They make far less than teachers. They continue to work where distancing isn’t possible and kids can’t keep masks on. I can tell you that many of them are terrified and desperately want access to vaccines.
Just heard from a caregiver of an at-risk person. She lives in a “hot spot” postal code, in a multi-generational household. She takes transit to work. She says she was just rejected at a vaccine centre. Who are we vaccinating if she doesn’t qualify?! @fordnation@celliottability
If booking a vaccine is “so easy” per the Premier and many people are finding it not easy, why don’t they walk people through it with slides during a press conference. A tutorial of sorts. #onpoli
Why, if schools across the province are shutting down, why is there no strategy to use this time to vaccinate all education workers?? @fordnation@Sflecce

The live-at-home approach suits Norah Jones, @Paul_R_Elie writes. It foregrounds her directness and natural musicianship, reminding us that she is a truly great singer and a stylish pianist. https://t.co/dHCs5Pcgqx

If you’re upset about regular folk hoarding toilet paper, wait till you hear about how a tiny percentage of rich people have hoarded most of the world’s wealth.
3 yrs ago, met @rhirosalind.

See this guy dancing in the stands?
His name is Rolland Holland. His daughter is one of the cheerleaders.
To support her, he memorizes and performs the same dance routine as her. During the game, when she looks up, she knows they're performing it together.

Last night, Don Cherry made comments that are wrong in describing Canadians' remembrance of our veterans. His remarks don't recognize the contribution of Canada's diverse communities. I hope we can turn this into a moment where we can learn about about all who have served. 1/7
Sunday night #Scarborough bus story: Two women in hijabs sit across from each other. They look at each other. Finally they speak, quietly, shyly. After a few exchanges, tears start to flow and they become very excited, hugging and jumping up and down. >>
Turban or yarmulke, cross or crescent. No matter your religion, ethnicity, or cultural background, we are all Canadians. Comments like these have no place in today's society. All Canadians need to come together to strengthen our multiculturalism. #DiversityIsOurStrength
We are missing the point if this story becomes about Justin Trudeau being unveiled as "a racist". Here is an opportunity to think more deeply about the situation and what allows it to be so. I'm not in any way surprised by the image that has been circulated. /1
