Yesterday, I received my Certificate of Return with a heart full of gratitude and humility. This certificate does not belong to Ademola Adeleke alone; it belongs to the good people of Osun State who stood firm and defended our democracy.

As we celebrate, we must also remember those who lost their lives and those affected by electoral violence. We have launched a ₦500 million Election Violence Victims Endowment Fund to support victims of these incidents, while the Adeleke family will provide scholarships up to University level for the children and dependants of those who lost their lives.

I thank the people of Osun for your courage, faith and renewed confidence in our administration. This victory belongs to you. This certificate belongs to you. Osun, we move forward together.
