We did some counting - this year CEEGS had almost 100 registered participants from 20 countries, including Poland, Slovakia, Malta, Russia, the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Finland, Denmark, USA, Canada, Norway, Indonesia, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Romania, Estonia and Hungary.
The biggest CEEGS so far is behind us. Thanks to all of you for coming and making it such a fantastic event, with amazing talks and a friendly atmosphere! We hope to see you next year!

Good news for those who have not managed to apply for workshops - we are extending the submission deadline for Slavic Fantasy in Video Games and Visions of Game Development Programs until September 6. The WAR/GAME workshop is now closed.
You that you have until August 30 to enter submission into our workshops. To accommodate potential workshop participants, we have extended the early bird registration to September 8. See you in Prague soon!

Our next keynote for Prague 2018 is @jesperjuul, video game theorist and occasional designer, and author of game studies classics like Half-Real, A Casual Revolution and Art of Failure. Lately, he has been writing about indie game aesthetics.
Our first keynote is @clarafv from @NYUGameCenter, a game scholar and designer, author of Introduction to Game Analysis, and games like the award-winning experimental adventure game Symon. We're looking forward to having her in Prague! Come join us and share the good news.
