My ordeal with @adeloveshipping
A few months ago, I began to see ads placed by a Houston, Texas based international shipping company - #AdeloveShipping. These flashy ads depicted a well-run international shipping business, which purported to ship automobiles, and any other

Working as a registered nurse case manager means we know all about federal coverage for illegal immigrants. Guess what? An undocumented patient DOES NOT GET ANY FEDERAL INSURANCE BENEFITS. They dont qualify for Medicare, Medicaid, or even the ACA(Obamacare).
@nicknamemankcin This is a provable lie as can be attested to by the recent discussion of the Black MCAT scores for the Yale admits being discussed. Slightly lower scores are not a low scores. The Blacks landed in the 95th percentile. You do know what that means right?
China has Affirmative Action programs to affirm ethnic equity to promote social stability. A lot don’t know many Asian immigrants come here to evade the AA systems in their own home countries. They learn all they have to do is hop on the anti Blackness wagon. It’s shameful.
Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but we are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian.
Your religion guides you, not all of us. It’s as simple as that.
And finally while my impressions are still hot. A lot of you are confusing diversity equity and inclusion,DEI, with affirmative action. Affirmative action of the past would fill spots in order to meet quotas sometimes forgoing standards. DEI is about giving people historically left out the tools to meet those standards and visibility in consideration once they do meet them.
This is an essential point that many people overlook. The rose that grows in a greenhouse is amazing but the rose that grows in concrete is EXCEPTIONAL!
@AAGDhillon@CivilRights@TheJusticeDept The pool of Black applicants is way smaller than the pool of Asian or White applicants. Simple math makes it more likely that Black candidates with equally strong academics would be interviewed.
This is stupid, but good job riling up privileged people who want to be victims.
Nothing exposes fragile people faster than seeing minorities succeed in spaces they once monopolized. Diversity feels “forced” only to people who were used to exclusion being normal.
Modern scientific consensus show that standardized test scores are deeply influenced by a mix of socioeconomic factors, educational resources, and systemic inequities. There are no inherent genetic differences at play between races or nationalities.
To summarize, living in a bucolic neighborhood and having the means to pay for test prep courses for junior.
Wealth. The very thing that white Americans have gone to great lengths over several generations to destroy for African Americans.
I’m a Nigerian immigrant and Asian children on the whole, do not perform better academically than our children. And they’re not likely to get into the Ivy before them. (As it happens, Nigerian children are now leading in relative outcomes; in education and earnings).
The problem with Asians and the constant whinging about DEI is one of perspective or the lack thereof. Perhaps the schools that have broadened their admissions criteria beyond robotic abilities are saying that they need more than the one dimensional crammer and regurgitator. The creative types and the otherwise richly experienced. Perhaps they’re saying that the imperceptible variation in test scores (95 vs 98 percentile. DEI is NOT Affirmative Action) between rote memorization and environmental or other factors should not be mutually exclusive.
It appears that beyond the overly exaggerated sense of self-importance and narrow shine of academic testing, Asian Americans lack a sense of history - and gratitude. An understanding of how their success was predicated upon the African-American civil rights struggle affording them the privilege of social mobility which in turn made possible study centers for their offsprings.
As a Nigerian immigrant, I am very much aware, even as I enjoy the comforts of American bourgeois society, that I am riding on the strong shoulders of AA giants. And if for any reason a fractional margin of test score difference should mean that my children concede a place to the very people who have endured indescribable suffering and wealth destruction in the hands of the irredeemable moral idiots now raving against “DEI”, very well.
I am an educated man and perfectly aware of the meaning of social responsibility. Enlightened self interest affords me a certain moral clarity. I understand what it means to live in a “society.”
I understand that being a part of society enjoins all members to be protective of the social bonds that hold us together in universal harmony. We must resist the urge to give in to egotism and solipsistic happiness like wild animals.
Dostoevsky points out that, "neither a person nor a nation can exist without some higher idea". An idea higher that blind striving having no purpose beyond starvation.
This is the value of DEI
In the book Roots, Kunta Kinte was about 16 years old when he was captured, purchased, enslaved, and tortured.
In the book Roots, Kizzy Kinte was about 16 years old when she was raped by the white man that purchased, enslaved, and tortured her.
Said differently, Kunta and Kizzy were the exact same age as some of the very students banned from reading this book when they were purchased, enslaved, and tortured.
Having a fully functioning body is such an underrated privilege. Legs that work, eyes that can see, hands that can move.. it’s all a blessing. Take care of it.
This unfortunate story may seem like what should happen in a Nollywood movie.
But it is 100% accurate.
@qatarairways has blatantly refused to address the injustice done to Gideon Ezeh.
Mr. Ezeh was on his way to the United States to visit his wife who is a PhD candidate in the US.
Ezeh was also carrying a hairdressing mannequin head - purchased as a gift and act of love for his wife who had expressed difficulty braiding her hair.
He first purchased it to learn hair braiding and to assist her with it during his visit, and he carried it as an additional gift to her, so she could practise braiding in his absence.
WhatsApp messages between the couple dated April 21, 2025, and TikTok hair tutorial videos downloaded by Mr. Ezeh on April 24, 2025, fully corroborate this innocent and deeply personal purpose.
There was nothing criminal, suspicious, or irregular about Mr. Ezeh's travel. He was a loving husband flying to support his wife.
On May 7th, 2025, while transiting through Hamad International Airport, Qatar, with Qatar Airways, he was detained following suspicion that decorative stones contained within the mannequin might contain narcotics.
He cooperated fully with authorities and complied with every investigative procedure requested of him.
Importantly, the initial airport field tests reportedly returned negative results for narcotics. Despite this, he was detained and imprisoned for approximately six weeks while forensic analysis was conducted.
At the conclusion of this analysis, the competent forensic laboratory determined that the stones were benign and contained no narcotic substances. The Public Prosecution subsequently dismissed the case.
While the dismissal confirmed his innocence, the damage caused by the incident has been profound and continues to this day.
For six weeks, he was deprived of his liberty, subjected to immense psychological distress, and treated as a suspected narcotics trafficker despite the absence of confirmed evidence. The stigma associated with such allegations is severe and has followed us long after the investigation concluded.
The consequences have extended far beyond the time in detention.
As a direct result of the allegation, the United States visas of Ezeh and his wife were revoked, and their names were flagged in international travel databases in a manner associated with narcotics trafficking.
These actions have had devastating personal and professional consequences.
Despite the dismissal of the case, the authorities involved have refused to release the forensic laboratory report confirming the benign nature of the stones. This refusal is deeply troubling.
The report is the most critical piece of evidence needed to restore our reputations and correct the record internationally, particularly with immigration authorities who continue to rely on the existence of the original allegation.
Denying access to exculpatory evidence leaves the couple in an impossible position where innocence has been acknowledged internally but cannot be demonstrated externally.
In addition, Mr. Ezeh was subjected to a ban by Qatar Airways based on an undefined claim of “unacceptable conduct.” This ban was later quietly lifted without explanation, apology, or clarification. The lack of transparency surrounding this action has further damaged his reputation and caused significant distress.
