Bauchi is bleeding.โจKatsina is mourning.โจKebbi is grieving.โจZamfara is under siege.
Benue isn't safe. So is Plateau.
Families are being torn apart by bandits and terrorists.
Children are orphaned. Mothers are burying their sons.
Villages are burning.
Yet, the political class is already consumed with campaigns, alliances, and 2027 permutations.
What is the value of power if the people are not safe?โจ
What is democracy without security?โจ
What is leadership without responsibility?
Northern Nigeria cannot continue like this. We cannot normalize mass killings. We cannot normalize silence. We cannot normalize excuses.
Lives must matter more than elections.
History will remember who spoke up; and who stayed silent.

Too many lives wasted. It is becoming a daily event. The leaders elected are unwary. The appointed security heads incautious. Their media aides & praise singers untouched, as far as the credit alerts keep coming. Supporters of the failed politicians keep looking for excuses, so much so that they feel like blaming the victims that lost their lives to bandits & terrorists? Why? Their tribesman or political party flag-bearer must not to be seen as someone who has failed. They forget the simple rule of life, that "what goes around, comes around." The consequences of one's actions would have to be dealt with eventually. I m not even as concerned about the failed politicians as I am a out those blind supporters that have kept all senses & jumped eyes-closed into the abyss of darkness supporting every evil for what comes home or into their bank accounts. I won't pray evil to come your way, but I pray that may you meet the consequences of the actions of your paymasters, good or bad. For the rest of us, may God protect us from your evil and the evil of your paymasters. ๐
A lot of Nigerians bent on sentiments, do not understand sovereign pride. You cannot support a foreign country against yours, or blackmail your country because you disagree with it. Even worse, believing that another country has authority over yours; thatโs the highest form of indignity.
My whole issue with these deductions, in form of tax or any name they use, that goes to the govt is that, we are only financing the extravagant lives of some THIEVES in office, and their aides that feed large in our hard earned money and wirh nothing to show to us as citizens.
I am yet to see the benefit of these to me as an individual or other common persons like me.
The governor's have failed. The President has failed. The entire security structure is in a big mess as lives continue to be wasted while they fly in private jets and enjoy the resources of the country.
May everyone who has hand in this menace, and anyone having any role to play but isn't doing it experience the hardest sickness of "Laa Misasa". May the never have rest of mind as the poor never do.

Not sure if Nigeria has witnessed this level of corruption with impunity as it is facing today. If this is alleged, the recklessness with which public fund is being stolen is being normalised under the current administration.
