We are pleased to announce the signing of 22 year old, Josh Watkin from Novira Cymru North leaders, Brickfield Rangers.

With a wand of a left foot, Josh, despite his young age, has plenty of experience in Tier 2, having been a regular starter for Mold and Gresford, and we are delighted he has chosen to join Cefn.

A product of the Connah's Quay Nomads academy, Josh will go straight into Phil Hudsons' squad for tomorrow's Ardal NE home clash with Dolgellau at The Muga, 2pm KO.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to @BrickfieldRFC for their cooperation with the transfer.

It was a disappointing afternoon at The Muga as we exit the FAW Welsh Cup.

Despite going 3-0 down and down to 10 men, Kien Morris pulled 2 goals back, but it wasn't quite enough.

All the best to Y Felinheli in the next round and we go again next weekend at home, in the league to Dolgellau.

We bow out of the FAW Amateur Trophy on penalties.

Dion Gibbins opened the scoring with a header after a great delivery from Torne Samuels. QP hit back and went 2-1 ahead before a 90+5 minute penalty from Callum Mannion took the game to penalties.

Thank you to all the supporters for getting behind the lads today. Now we look ahead to our first league game in a month, next weekend, away at Knighton.
