Had a good day out today visiting Scotland's national stadium as #Scotland saw off #Curacao 4-1 in their World Cup send-off.

Curacao were certainly hamstrung by the red card, but looked a competitive side aside from that. Scotland, with players missing, echo this. #groundhopping

Had a fully enjoyable day out today watching @WiganCricket (178-9 off 46 overs) hold on for a hard-fought draw with @FBCC1833 (231-6 dec; 54 overs).

Headed to Walkden today as @north_walkdenfc saw off @BaguleyAthletic 5-1 to secure the @THEMCRFL Division 1 title.

Well, I got to @north_walkdenfc to find no rope within the cage, meaning I can't count it. Always thought a speccy area was a @THEMCRFL League requirement, but guess that lapsed a while ago or was never a thing!

Anyway, I'll watch a bit until the rain persists and get away.

@smilerhopper Right, remember going to Royton years ago and they had to put a tiny area up, but have seen a couple not do so more recently. Doesn't make much of a difference on a day like this, though!

With my initially planned game moved into midweek, I'm instead finishing off my footballing season with a visit to a likely title deciding clash for @north_walkdenfc, who need to win vs. @BaguleyAthletic to pip @Old_Alts to the @THEMCRFL Division 1 title.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable day out today whilst finally visiting Iodine Park for @FcMillhead 2-4 @PenrithRoyalFC in the @WestmorlandFL Division 3.

An entertaining, and at times slightly strange, game was well worth the trip up. #groundhopper #groundhopping
