Almost identical careers. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE❗️
@actionjack69 Must not teach sportsmanship across the pond. Not how we end sporting events in America. Wemby had an ejection, 2 flagrants called just in the Finals, 2 other flagrants he got away with as no-calls, & never acknowledged the Knicks like a true competitor would. He’s now a villain
So if the league just did the right thing & added a flagrant on Wemby for throwing Brunson’s face into hardwood in Game 3, he’s suspended for Game 5. That’s just terrific 🤦🏻♂️
Knicks deserve to be losing but the officiating in the 1st Quarter legitimately resulted in a 10+ point swing.
The goaltends, the KAT overturn, the out of bounds calls. Mind-numbing.
Giving Wemby 3 days off instead of 2 was the deciding factor tonight. Have no idea why there was no game on a weekend when the most people can watch instead of 11:30 on a Monday night, but it mattered greatly for Wemby’s endurance. Wednesday night should be a regression again
We can now pump the brakes on Wemby best player in the league. 7’4” and missing jump shots with the game on the line. Turning the ball over. Knicks in 4 to complete the greatest postseason in NBA history
I am so incredibly happy for Knicks fans.
1994 was one of the most gut-wrenching Finals losses in NBA history.
Not getting back again until 1999, when Ewing had a torn Achilles and they were close to drawing dead to the Duncan-Robinson Spurs was a different type of cruelty.
And somehow never truly coming close in any season since then should have just been unfathomable. Instead, it was entirely predictable and at various times they were a national punch line.
To turn this season around from what it seemed like it was going to be (another promising but inevitably disappointing season), into what it became (the single most dominant month of playoff basketball from a margin of victory standpoint in the history of the NBA), is truly remarkable.
I am picking the Knicks in the Finals but more importantly I’ll be rooting for the Knicks in the Finals.
The NYC hoops fans deserve this moment.
