Hello! I’m Lea — some of you may now know me as “that artist who got yelled at and threatened for drawing Arlecchino in a skirt” LMAO

Since all that chaos somehow brought a lot of new people here, I thought it was a good time to reintroduce myself and update my pinned post~

Arlecchino means a lot to me. She gave me strength during some of the hardest times in my life, and she’s still an important source of comfort and inspiration to me today.

In my mind, she feels incredibly alive — almost like a real person. Her joys and sorrows, her instinct to protect, her family and friends, her contradictions and struggles… I want to explore all of that through my art.

I love designing beautiful outfits for her, but I also love drawing her past, the House of the Hearth, her relationships, quiet everyday life, silly little moments, and all the possibilities canon may never have enough room to show us.

I draw her, make merch, travel to conventions, organized birthday events across 11 cities, and even put her on big screens around the country. Somehow, doing all these things for one fictional woman has brought me endless joy.

Maybe that’s why it’s hard for me to reduce her to a few labels. Even words like “cool,” “queen,” “master,” or “butch” barely scratch the surface of how I see her. You know, when you’ve known someone for a long time, labels slowly give way to the impression of a whole person. That’s how Arle feels to me.

And of course, I’m still completely captivated by her. To me, she absolutely has a masculine side, but it’s a kind of coolness that feels distinctly feminine — something only a woman could embody in quite the same way.

That tension is irresistible to me as an artist. It’s why I love seeing her in both masculine and feminine styles: pants, skirts, suits, uniforms, casual clothes, ridiculous little birthday outfits… if it inspires me, I want to draw it.

I don’t see them as different versions of Arle. They’re simply different sides and possibilities of the same person I love.

I care deeply about canon and love digging into the details of her character. But fanart is also where I get to imagine, interpret, and explore. Sometimes I stay close to canon; sometimes I wander a little further and ask, “What if?” That freedom is a huge part of why I love fan creation.

So if you’re new here — welcome! I hope my art lets you get to know the Arlecchino I see.

And if you’ve been here for years, thank you for watching me draw this woman approximately five billion times and somehow still never get tired of her.
