In 1979, CBS aired a Bugs Bunny Christmas special featuring three new cartoon shorts. Friz Freleng's DePatie/Freleng handled most of the special, while Chuck Jones directed the Road Runner segment. Voice actors Mel Blanc and June Foray portrayed all characters.
Though a holiday TV staple in the 1980s, it rarely airs now in its original form. The shorts, later retitled, include Bugs Bunny's Christmas Carol, Freeze Frame, and The Fright Before Christmas. Despite not matching classic theatrical cartoons, the special stood out for its effort and charm, particularly the bridging segments and Taz's Santa mishap.

“I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.”

Dont look to your situation or feelings or even self examination in the dark times. Look to Christ. The same is to be said of the summer days.
