This week TEDI hosted a technical meeting in Lisbon with senior staff from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Revenue Authority. On the agenda was reform of the #fiscalbenefitscode in Mozambique. Fiscal benefits represent essential revenue foregone by the government, and therefore need to be justified – and monitored – by their impact on other objectives of the government, including job creation, investment promotion, regional development etc. A productive way to end an excellent year for TEDIs support on #reformoftaxpolicy.
