I loved Tony Slattery on that show; he was so quick, so funny and so damn well dressed. He was my hero. He was the 90s.

Tony Slattery saved my life. I was a depressed teenage and found comfort in his comedy. I watched every clip on YouTube. Just a Gigalo was a favourite. I got to meet him twice and basically fangirled at him both times. He and his partner are so nice. I'll miss him #tonyslattery

Actual scenario that happened yesterday. We had a suspected transfusion reaction workup. Nurse sends up the post-transfusion sample along with blood bag and tubing, and for some reason, she peeled off the ARC label that contained the blood type, product code, and expiration.

So back in the blood bank, we’re trying to do a clerical check and we go, “Uhhhhhh…this isn’t right!” 🤯 What the fuck! Unit still had the unit number on it and the bb supervisor told us to confirm unit details through Wellsky. SMH. What say you, Twitter: Incident report or no?

When she was questioned as to why she would do such a thing, her response was, “Well, it had been over an hour since the transfusion began and the patient seemed okay.” So you just start peeling labels off of a hanging bag of blood?? Do you peel the labels off hanging meds too??
