🚨🇧🇫- The people said, “Sign it! You’re going to lead the country for the next 5 years.”
What we witnessed yesterday in Burkina Faso 🇧🇫, is how we used to choose leaders for ourselves in the olden days. Soundiata Keïta, founder of the Mande empire was unanimously chosen by the people to be emperor.
The way this was done is how we should conduct our own things. All structures of society were represented there. Even all the traditional leaders, religious leaders were in attendance. This is way better than casting a vote or doing a referendum.
This may not be a kingship or chieftaincy, but hey this is the will of the people. So, I don’t understand why the French are so mad and vociferating about this. Do they love our country more than we do? Or are they insinuating that they are wiser than all of us who approve of this ? That can’t be. They love our resources, not us. Vox Populi, Vox Dei. He who doesn’t agree with this, we don’t care, that’s his problem. In fact, we don’t give a damn about what they think. End of story!
Again, I reiterate that I am against the notion of “transition” or “opposition”, and I reject them. Stop saying transition! Again, when De Gaulle carried out his coup d'état on May 13th, 1958, an electoral college invested him as President of the Fifth Republic until his resignation in 1969.
France 🇫🇷 never spoke of transition. So why do they put labels on us, and stupid that we are, we repeat in unison these vague and useless concepts that they throw at us? Let's stop this nonsense!
The same goes for the term opposition. They have no opposition at home, it's either the left or the right. In America 🇺🇸, it's Republicans and Democrats, or either the majority leader and the minority leader, but never opposition.
The idea of opposition implies that you are fighting each other because of power. This is why in Africa, the power in place or the ruling party and the “opposition” see each other as enemies. So, let's ban these terms from our vocabulary and redefine our own terms. Long live @CapitaineIb226 ! A luta continua! One love ❤️!
