Dear Young Nigerians,
One lesson from the 2023 elections, particularly in Lagos, should never be forgotten.
In the period following the presidential election and leading up to the governorship election, we witnessed a troubling shift in public discourse. Conversations that should have focused on competence, governance, development, and the future of our nation were gradually diverted towards tribal sentiments, ethnic divisions, and unnecessary suspicion among citizens.
Many sincere and well-meaning Nigerians participated in these conversations without realising that they were being drawn into narratives carefully designed by others.
Throughout history, whenever politicians find it difficult to compete on ideas, performance, character, or vision, some resort to exploiting the fault lines of ethnicity, religion, and identity. Their calculation is simple: a divided people are easier to manipulate than a united people.
Today, I see similar efforts emerging again, sometimes in more subtle and sophisticated ways. Narratives are planted, amplified, and circulated, often by individuals who genuinely believe they are defending a worthy cause, without recognizing the broader agenda behind such campaigns.
Let me state clearly that Pastor Enoch Adeboye remains one of the foremost fathers of faith in our nation. For decades, he has consistently preached the virtues of peace, prayer, love, reconciliation, and national unity. Even when faced with provocation, his response has always reflected humility, restraint, wisdom, and grace.
At 84 years of age, it would be unfair for young and able-bodied Nigerians to transfer to him responsibilities that properly belong to them. The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. It is their duty to lead the conversations, champion the reforms, and drive the positive change our nation urgently requires.
We must be careful not to become instruments in the hands of those who secretly nurture division while publicly preaching unity. In most cases, their target is not the individual being attacked; instead, it is the person who is attacking. Their real objective is to weaken the bonds that hold us together as one people and one nation.
I therefore urge all young Nigerians: do not allow anyone to recruit you into hatred. Do not allow anyone to weaponise your ethnicity, your faith, or your admiration for respected leaders.
Question every narrative. Verify every claim. Follow the facts. Resist manipulation.
The Nigeria of our dreams can only be built by citizens who refuse to be divided, who choose unity over hatred, and who place our collective future above narrow interests.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Among all Nigerian Pastors who have been stylishly hobnobbing with APC since 2015, I think the one whose influence has waned and has taken a severe hit is Fr. Mbaka.
Those in Enugu who knew the man before can testify...
At the time of recording "Beauty & the Beast" (1991), Celine Dion was actually considered an "up & coming" singer. Disney was concerned she may not have been a "strong enough" pull to do the song alone. They asked the seasoned and well-known R&B star, Peabo Bryson to sing the duet along with Celine. It became a massive hit and it would also win them a Grammy for the song.
Peabo Bryson & Celine Dion truly gave us one of the most magical Disney theme songs of all time with "Beauty & the Beast". Peabo's signature sound and soothing tones will definitely be missed, but never forgotten.
EXPOSED: How A South African-Listed Company Suspended An FCCPC Regulation That Favours Nigerian Fintechs, Using A Nigerian Court!
South Africans carrying out baseless xenophobic attacks on Nigerians is enough cause for anger. But more infuriating is a South African-listed company operating in Nigeria brazenly suspending an FCPC regulation that favours Nigerian-owned fintech, using our local courts.
A Thread!
Nigeria matter is really tiring. So because the senators that lost their primaries are pushing to enforce the electoral law for live transmission of results, all of a sudden Akpabio, the worst Senate president in the history of Nigeria says they are pushing for their return 😂
BS!
Firstly, that ethnicity aren't even native to Nigeria in the to start with. The so called "Nigerian Fulani" were exactly like the new ones 1 or 2 generations ago & they know it.
They won't deprive their kinsmen an opportunity to own their own area, like they now do.
"The Fulani that are kidnapping people are not Nigerian Fulani. They are mostly Fulani from Chad, we Nigerian Fulani may eat someone else farm with our cow, but we don’t kidnap."
— An abducted Fulani man, narrating his experience after being kidnapped.
BREAKING : listen to this video, hear and see where your country LOANS taken by the Supreme Leader of Bourdillon are going into . Your brains shall reset to factory settings come 2027 if you refuse to fight brutally to defend your votes from these Hyenas masquerading as leaders
Martin Luther King was a pastor and he led the revolution that changed the history of African Americans.
Paul wrote letters and challenged the government in the Bible.
Stupid maggots think their pastors exist to feast on tithes and offerings.
fulani militias started killing southerners in mass since 2014, spiked in 2015 and has not stopped since then. That's 12 years of consistent killing by their tribe.
On March 19, 2013, Chudi Nwike was abducted by armed men while traveling along the Asaba–Agbor axis in Delta State, a known kidnapping hotspot at the time.
The kidnappers took him hostage and demanded a ransom of ₦30 million from his family. After negotiations, the amount was reportedly reduced to about ₦5 million, which was eventually paid.
Despite receiving the ransom, the kidnappers did not release him. Instead, they kept him in captivity and moved him between locations to avoid detection.
Shortly after, his body was discovered in Delta State (near Agbor area reports suggest).
He had been killed by his abductors even after the ransom payment.
Police investigations later led to the arrest of several suspects linked to the kidnapping network operating across southern Nigeria.
The case pointed to a broader organized criminal gang, not just a single group.
One of the key figures linked to the network was Kelvin Prosper Oniarah, a notorious kidnap kingpin associated with multiple high-profile abductions in that period.
Oniarah was arrested in 2013 after a security operation in Delta State. He was later prosecuted and convicted for kidnapping-related crimes.
Reports later suggested he received a reduced sentence or benefited from clemency/commutation processes, meaning his time in custody may have been shortened compared to his original conviction.
The clemency was granted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through the presidential pardon/mercy process, not a court or governor ohh
Now, why’s the President granting Clemency to someone serving 20years for crimes he committed.
This your tweet should anger Nigerians on how the government rehabilitate those causing the increased violence against humanity.
Why is Tinubu granting Clemency to the person that masterminded this post of yours.
These are real questions Nigerians should ask you and your master.
But something has been bugging me.
Dr. Chudi Nwike was AD national secretary and ACN national vice-chairman (South East)
He was kidnapped along Abuja-Auchi Road in 2013 and eventually murdered.
His killer was caught and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Tinubu became president and granted his killer a presidential pardon.
Why would Tinubu grant the killer of one of his earliest and strongest political allies a presidential pardon?
Something feels off here, and I'm gonna dig until I find out what it is
They now communicate properly in pidgin & adapt. You have to ask them where they're from before they tell you that they're from the north.
That particular bastard in 2019 was arrogantly acting like he couldn't understand pidgin. Next thing, I saw him patrolling in the bushes.
If other regions were speaking up the way southwest are doing now just maybe the insecurity would not have gotten this bad. 'Cause here we dont place a cow above a human being, emi eyan se pataki ganni
Anyway, Ndị Igbo leant to handle the madness internally, silently & I'm proud of my people.
Went to the village 2019, Fulani speaking aboki dropped me at home & instead of leaving afterwards, patrolled round the property.
By 2020/21 no Fulani speaking aboki in Ekwulobia again.
ST. CHARLES LWANGA stands among the greatest heroes of the Christian faith in Africa. A young leader in the royal court of King Mwanga II of Buganda, he lived at a time when following Christ demanded extraordinary courage. His story is not merely one of martyrdom but of conviction, purity, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to God.
As chief of the royal pages, Charles was entrusted with the care and formation of younger boys in the king's service. Having embraced Christianity, he became a mentor to many of them, teaching them the faith and encouraging them to live according to Christian values. When King Mwanga sought sexual relations with some of the pages, Charles courageously protected the young men under his care and urged them to remain faithful to Christian teaching on chastity. His refusal to cooperate with the king's demands placed him directly in danger.
Rather than compromise his faith or abandon those he was responsible for, Charles chose to stand firm. Even as persecution against Christians intensified, he continued strengthening fellow believers and preparing them spiritually for whatever lay ahead. He understood the risks, yet he would not betray Christ or his conscience.
On June 3, 1886, Charles Lwanga and his companions were burned alive at Namugongo. Facing a brutal death, they displayed remarkable peace, courage, and faith. What was intended to destroy Christianity instead became one of the most powerful testimonies to the Gospel in African history.
Today, St. Charles Lwanga is revered as the patron saint of African youth. His life reminds us that holiness often requires courage, that true leadership means protecting the vulnerable, and that fidelity to Christ is worth every sacrifice. More than a century after his death, his witness continues to inspire Christians around the world to stand for truth, purity, and faithfulness regardless of the cost ✝️❤️🙏🏿🙏🏾
