the idea of having your present selves talk to your rookie selves, i believe that was a nice idea for a milestone like your 7th year anniversary. like the surprise was almost perfect already, the NOAs set was beautiful and reminiscent.. BUT having to use conversational AI to execute the surprise? that simply wasn’t necessary..

while watching, i actually already had a feeling about the surprise that the rookie idols mentioned are tubatu’s younger selves, especially with how they kept saying they reminded them so much of themselves.. but i expected it to be a real person talking to them, like probably a staff member or a close friend who knows them well, disguised as rookie tubas 🥹

i believe it would have been more moving that way, because at least you’d know their personal stories are in good hands, since they’re with someone they know and/or who has seen them grow.. instead of AI where there are certain risks that come if you feed it information about somebody. :(

with that, i hope everybody understands why moas are expressing their disappointment. it does not have to do with the whole idea, but more with the execution. it was already doable and would have been more impactful without AI.

- there are lot of new things and they’re still learning new things for it everyday

- all the members are doing something new
