GV Basketball used a hot start in the opening quarter and never trailed as they topped visiting BB&N, 61-44. Cassie Beste poured in a game-high 19 points while Amelia Byerly added 16 and Stacy Chen finished with 11. #WeAreExeter

GV Basketball topped Taft 38-35 in the opening game of the Groton Tournament before falling to the hosts 56-50 in the nightcap. Cassie Beste and Stacy Chen combine for 55 points in the two games. Big Red will battle Suffield in the 3rd place game tomorrow at 10am. #WeAreExeter.
