imo, trading is not the easiest job
it comes with pressure, frustration, and emotional ups and downs
weirdly, i enjoy every part of the journey, even the struggles
i enjoy fr,
am i siao ah? wahliao eh ๐พ
the struggle is real: balancing content creation and trading
but iโm learning to take action first and figure things out along the way
stay curious, keep learning, make mistakes, and improve :)
the goal isnโt to give up one for the other, but to separate my focus and build a system where both can grow
this is my online journal, and iโm excited to look back a few months from now and see how much iโve grown
went to a private dinner couple nights ago, seats were pre-arranged
ended up sitting right beside a calm middle-aged Asian man
people around the table asked him what he did, he simply said he doesnโt do anything and was just there for the food
everyone went back to their own conversations and pretty much ignored him
i ended up spending the next hour having a genuine conversation with him about his travel plans, his stage of life, and a somehow drifted to trading psychology
towards the end, he showed me his wrist, wearing a blue Richard Mille, and said something that stuck with me:
โeveryone knows how to compare the price of everything, but very few understand the value of anythingโ
i think what he was trying to say was that people spend so much time optimizing for cost, they forget what actually matters: their time, experiences, and the people they love
curious, i finally asked who he was before he left
he casually mentioned he might be @DegenSpartan, but that iโd never find out
who tf did i just spend an hour talking to
didnโt even get his real name, but still one of the most insightful conversations iโve had in a while
also made me realize that sometimes the most interesting person in the room is the one nobody bothers to talk to
& sometimes, the most valuable conversations are the ones you least expect
whoever you are, thank you for that hour of wisdom, learn many insights
testing out pair trading on @pear_protocol rn
asked agent pear about the btc rejection from 87k to 84k, he said bias still mildly bullish but $82k is the level to watch, break below that opens path to 80k
then asked for a higher confidence pair rec
he gave me long SUI / short GALA, 6/10 confidence off an extended Z-score
took the trade small, just testing the mechanics for now. let's see how it plays out ๐๐

nice banget, more insight dari @yuudseke0n tentang peluang karir di Web3
tips & tricks
1/โจbener banget. sekarang english udah jadi bare minimum. kalau mau jadi pembeda di web3, tambah value dengan belajar mandarin, minimal HSK 3 biar bisa daily conversation
2/โจsepengamatanku, banyak orang Indo lulusan China belum sadar ada peluang kerja di web3, jadi masih belum telat buat masuk
3/โจtips kalau mau belajar sendiri ๐งต
beli 4 jenis buku: writing, listening, speaking, dan literature (intermediate). aku lupa judulnya, nanti aku fotoin pas sampai rumah, DM aja kalau butuh
โจfoundation-nya: kenali hanzi lewat nulis dulu
โขbeli buku kotak-kotak, 1 hanzi = 1 lembar
โขtarget 10 hanzi per hari, ulang tiap hari
โขpas nulis, tulis juga nadanya (tone) sambil diucapinโจstack the skill pelan-pelan
4/โจdengerin lagu mandarin biar telinga terbiasa sama nada yang beda-beda
scroll socmed china. favoritku ๅฐ็บขไนฆ (xiaohongshu), instagram-nya orang china
nonton variety show china. menurutku drachin banyak kosakata berat, variety show lebih mirip daily conversation mereka
langsung praktek sama orang china, lewat chat atau ketemu langsung. gausah malu, toh bukan bahasa ibu kita. tabrak aja, pede aja

Worker side:
*paling bawah cuannya paling gede.
1. BD
Skill: negosiasi, komunikasi, networking, partnership, biasa dikejar target.
2. Marketing
Skill: konten, copywriting, baca tren dan data, editing.
Jadi plus point kalo lu udah punya community sendiri & personal branding.
3. Product
Skill: ngerti user, paham trading/DeFi, ngerti komunikasiin hal simpel jadi teknis <> teknis jadi simple.
4. Legal & Compliance
Skill: baca regulasi, teliti, risk
5. Tax & Accounting
Skill: pajak aset digital, pembukuan, laporan keuangan.
Demand lagi rame, supply orangnya masih langka.
6. Semua lini kerjaan di web3 & CEX (BD, IT, Compliance, Marketing, etc.)
WAJIB BISA SPEAK ENGLISH & MANDARIN KALO MO DAPET CUAN LEBI BANYAKK, serius dah, Mandarin sepenting itu, ya ga? @celinejoo__
TAPI, kalo BD Listing, BD partnership, Marketing, product, IT, operation, mostly requirementsnya "Fluent in Mandarin".
Jadi terms cuannya paling gede = opportunitynya makin lebar, demandnya tinggi bener.
*cmiiw ya guys
HUGE: Hyperliquid's perps are now live on the Bloomberg Terminal.
The Terminal now shows live data from Hyperliquid's 24/7 perps, including oil, gold, the S&P 500 and chipmakers.
It comes after President Trump said the CFTC is working to bring Hyperliquid to the US.
so hyped to say @pear_protocol just made me their newest ambassador ๐
documenting this whole pair trading journey from here, wins, losses. best way to actually learn something is to just do it out loud
for those who don't know, pear's a platform that lets you long one asset and short another in one click, basically trading the relationship between two assets instead of just betting on direction
try it: https://t.co/66bChwnLeO
IG: informative + aesthetic
TikTok: raw + a little controversial
X: critical, and honestly the smartest crowd
same content, three different audiences, imo
