I’m not paying attention to any kpop besides Jisoo and Rescene these days. In 2026, ALL mainstream singles are by default digital singles unless specified to be physical single album. Calling it ‘digital single’ seems redundant and it just confuses people especially as we’re trying to figure out what Jisoo rollout for the full album is going to be like.

And as you can see from the likes on my original post, I’m not the only one confused as to whether there’ll be an mv. If there’s an mv, that’ll be amazing.

Every time I think I love Jisoo enough, she does something new and really great. Jisoo has been courageous since the very start of her career, but these are just some of the instances post YG (as soloist) where she’s shown enormous courage:

1. Deciding to start her own label, Blissoo, was the beginning of it all.

2. Taking the time to fulfil her desire to act. Spending over 1.5 years doing three back-to-back acting projects is no joke for someone who just finally went solo. She dared to do it and earned herself a really meaningful accolade, the Canneseries Rising Star Award, as a result of it.

3. Setting up Jisoo app was a trailblazing vision for herself. I’m in awe. No matter what any saboteur media, saboteur label or saboteur anti says, Jisoo has the ultimate direct comms with her fanbase.

4. Recording English tracks for Amortage and even releasing her first-ever full English pre-release single, Click. After Eyes Closed, people think Click was safe but I beg to differ. It takes real balls to do what she did. She did it as a soloist, not as a duet or collab.

5. Embarking on a solo Asian tour with little to no promo, and despite having a catalogue of only 6 songs. She showed us her desire to perform live as real Singers do, and a desire to be close to us as she walked through those crowds.

6. Shumon IP was another jaw-dropping business decision and the tie-ups that followed. Who even thinks of such a thing? It was something she drew as a child, but she had the self-belief and self-respect to create something bigger out of it.

7. Showing up to Canneseries and forever squashing all those filthy lies that preceded it. A single most powerful and glorious appearance made the truth shineblazing white, bright that day.

8. The lightstick design is so clever and so on-brand for her, and it’s obviously a precursor to the world tour that’s coming. I’m so happy for Latam fans. You know she’s coming, yall deserve it too.

Despite all of the noise, all of the hate, all doubt (that naturally creeps in for everyone), my bestest fave continues to forge her own path forward. We are truly in awe.
