The most frustrating about LPF's banning of Primetime or any other movie is how arbitrary it is
If the red lines were more strictly defined around specific taboo topics, I'd still object, but at least you knew where the trip wires were. This is something totally paternalistic.
i remember during the height of michelle yeoh’s oscar win, someone said that if everything everywhere all at once was produced & released in this country, it would be censored & banned before it even gets distributed.
just found out that PRIMETIME will not be releasing in Malaysia due to LPF's censorship. what a surprise especially after the first delay. convicts and pedophiles walking around freely but god forbid we show a based-on-a-true-story movie about catching predators. righttt. right

Presenting GQ’s October global cover star: Tom Cruise.
It’s been 20 years since @TomCruise last appeared on the cover of GQ, and, in some ways, he’s living like it’s 2006 again.
He's taking his riskiest creative swing in decades in #DiggerMovie—and delivering GQ a rare in-depth (on-camera!) interview https://t.co/aHyrNSyI1H
