@BACMatthew@jeromekurtiss "inherent fact that it's hard to prove beyond reasonable doubt." Yet here you and many are, claiming it for fact. You ignore the fact she was getting on with multiple men that night, that her friends were cheering and enabling her behaviour, that she had a boyfriend at home also.
@jeromekurtiss@BACMatthew They did not convict Conor of rape. Civil juries do not determine criminal guilt. In Civil court it's about probabilities, and you don't need to have a claim beyond reasonable doubt. They found him liable for assault under the civil standard. She knew she'd get money.
@ADoseOfTia007@RobbieBlunt5@Database2000 You don't need proof in civil court. You can just be more convincing in your story vs someone else's. That's sadly how civil courts work.
@Danielleqbwc@BACMatthew There was NO criminal conviction for rape, that's civil court. There was no proof beyond reasonable doubt, just her word, video of her and her friends behaviour, against his word. The standard of proof is much lower in civil court.

@Val00n@uhvaimorre He's a junkie, alcoholic, violent thug, who goes around beating up elderly men, and is disgraceful in his behaviour. She cheated on her boyfriend, was loose with many guys, her friends were with her cheering her cheating on, her boyfriend found out, then suddenly she's raped.

@BACMatthew Just because you cheat on your boyfriend, and your friends cheer you on (all on video), doesn't mean you get a attempt to ruin someone's image and life. Tale personal responsibility
