@HenryJackson87 Its a mess, he's lost the fans, appears to have lost the dressing room. He hasnt been able to change anything since we essentially collapsed in October, but we're to believe he'll turn it around. I'm clinging to the belief a new manager will be announced after the world cup.
@AnfieldSector Arguably, performances had begun to deteriorate by March of last year, which could be because of a lesser training schedule under Slot. The players have looked done by 70/80 mins, and conceding so many late goals is proof of that. Its a disaster and the displays demonstrate it.
@deanthomas_88 I dont, unfortunately, hes under a manager who doesnt know how to setup a team or use him full stop. If we change manager I've no doubt we'll see the best of him.
@Mobyhaque1 I would hope he gets interested, he's lost the fans, and from some reports I've seen he's lost the dressing room as well. If there's any truth in those reports the position is untenable.
@WilsonCoxLFC He's clearly out of his depth. Players arent fit enough, zero intensity, and with the already confirmed departures and possible leavers, we'd need at least 9 or 10 players to give us the depth required. I'd much rather do that with a manager who knows what hes doing.
@ismaeelmahmoudd The players dont like him, the fans dont like him, yet the current talk around the club is that he will remain in the job next season. Doesn't make any sense whatsoever, just get him gone and start again.
@DaveOCKOP This has to bs, we'll almost certainly not have champions league football next year, I still think we might not have any European football as we are pure garbage. Fsg like to project an image of being the smartest in the room, but they're acting incredibly dumb with this.
@AnfieldWatch No, and he wouldn't have done that under Klopp. When he inevitably moves to Real, I would be curious to see how long he will last if he does it with the Real fans, who are known for their unwavering support when things go badly!
@LfcShaunjudge Been thinking this for months, we'll have to endure him against PSG, and even then they probably won't sack him. At this stage I'm not sure we'll get any European football next season, never mind Champions League.
@AnfieldSector On one hand I'm reading the board are backing Slot because of mitigating factors, on the other hes on the verge of being sacked. All claims are rubbish, I want him gone because hes changed nothing all season and the football is abysmal, but he's miraculously still in the job.
@Sean_OConnor8 Overall results and performances havent improved since early in the season. Genuinely, what are the owners seeing on the pitch that makes them believe Slot can turn this around, when he hasnt been able to in almost 6 months.
@davidlynchlfc@Maceroni2000 Not a hope we're getting champions league, still have united, Everton, villa and Chelsea to play, and we cant expect results against them playing like this, awful football.
@AnfieldEdition 100%, we've a minimum of 10 games left. Realistically, fa cups our best chance at silverware, but he has to go tonight, maybe a new manager bounce will get us another couple of champions league games but even thats unlikely.
@guineasfinest When he didnt go then I figured he'd see out the season. I made peace with not retaining the league long before the psv game, but still hoped he'd turn it round. The football though, even when we win, is some of the most joyless I've watched in almost 40 years as a fan.
