@JosephKahn Why would a plausible-random-text-generator guided by statistics about a large subset of texts which previously existed know if your script is good or bad ?
@stevenmartini "said" but won't. Also Parsons said he'll definitely make films about how stupid and weird AI is, not that he would make the films using AI
@Jaiydanimate Yes I'm sure he'd be all for the exact same kind of guys promoting a slightly different kind of AI which makes even more disgusting and inhuman images and even more overtly threatening to want to replace human drawings.
@yeathatonesonme@ihuffclearcoat@BarryPierce I mean ok it's "oh cool wow a studio actually took a chance on a weird project with a up and coming director" unusual but it's not "ITS A HOAX NO 20 YR OLD COULD DIRECT A FILM!!!" unusual.
@yeathatonesonme@ihuffclearcoat@BarryPierce People are acting like the fact that a successfuly new director was trained and helped to make his first feature film as some massive conspiracy for some reason and I'm trying to understand why. Nobody's presented anything that seems unusual for a hotshot first time director
@anotherpanacea@JoyceCarolOates What's changed? I know there are fairly decent AI detectors but they are still basically more AI guessing what's most plausible
@FarmThe119@goobisnthere@mnolangray Cool yeah pretty good idea to do this with a young director. 🤷♂️ Not seeing the problem. He told the crew how he would like them to do things in order to make the film, and he has his name next to the word Director on the credits. What more do you want?! :D
@Doomlaser@SwiftieofCain What part of his reaction in that video makes you think he would actually like the exponentially more uncanny, artless and grotesque output of modern genAI tho?!
