"Jesus Christ can give mental rest to those who are confused and bewildered. He can quiet your heart and give you inner serenity and joy if you will let Him have control of your mind and heart." —Billy Graham
Prayer for Hard Times: “God, I need your help. I’m really struggling with [say what’s on your heart] and I know I can’t figure out a solution on my own. I pray that You will show me what to do. I’m listening, Lord. Help me to be receptive to Your answer and to trust that You have all my best interests at heart. Lord, help me to be a blessing even in my time of need, so that I can bring You honor. And help me remember that I’m not alone. You’ve got me in the palm of Your hand and that’s the best place to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Help us wish Dave Meyer a very happy 86th birthday! We’re so grateful for his life, his example of faith, and the many years he has faithful ministry with Joyce. Join us in celebrating Dave today!
Happy 80th Birthday to President @realDonaldTrump! I’m sure he must feel like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Join me in praying that God would continue to strengthen him, give him wisdom, and guide his every step. And pray that God would give us peace, not just in this country, but in the Middle East, Europe, and around the world.
“Jesus died for you and for me. Far more than His excruciatingly painful physical death, He suffered spiritually when God laid on Him your sins and mine. He who had never known sin took the penalty for all our sin. What wondrous love is this!” —Billy Graham
Just because you fail at something doesn’t mean you’re a failure. It just means you found out something you can’t do…so then you don’t bother doing that anymore. You try doing something else. #JoyceQuote
Merry Christmas from our Joyce Meyer Ministries family to yours! Christmas is the perfect time to remember that God loves you, He cares about you, and He will be with you every step of the way.
"Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." -1 Peter 1:3
The mercy of God toward each of us is something that we can always be thankful for. Charles Spurgeon once said, "God's mercy is so great that you may sooner drain the sea of its water or deprive the sun of its light or make space too narrow, than diminish the great mercy of God."
Wow! Think about that. Can any one of us drain the sea? We might be able to drain a bathtub or a pool . . . but not the sea! That gives you an idea of God's immense mercy toward us.
Although God does hate sin, and injustice makes Him angry, He is not an angry God! He is full of mercy, not holding our sins against us. We can never do so much wrong that there is no more mercy left for us. Thankfully, where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.
