If you expect a generous airdrop from every project you join -

you’re very likely to face repeated disappointment.

Each project has its own criteria and token allocation strategies, which vary widely. A poor airdrop shouldn’t discourage you - keep pushing forward and engaging.

For example, owning NFTs in a project’s ecosystem doesn’t guarantee an airdrop. I’ve bought multiple NFTs and received nothing, but I didn’t complain since it was speculative.

Projects aren’t obligated to reward testnet participants unless they’ve explicitly promised an incentivized campaign, and even then, rewards may be peanuts.

Don’t blame others for airdrop outcomes. If an airdrop disappoints because influencers overhyped it, remember you chose to follow their advice. No one can predict the future, so own your decisions and move on.

Avoid negativity after a bad airdrop. Constantly complaining on platforms like X or Discord drains your energy and risks burnout, which can harm both your crypto journey and personal life.

It’s okay to miss out on some projects. Seeing influencers flaunt huge wins can sting, but if you don’t qualify this time, there are countless other opportunities.

I’ve missed many airdrops but I was eligible in many others too, slowly building my portfolio.

If a project makes an error, like flagging you as a sybil, contest it, but know when to let go. Your time and energy are better spent exploring new projects than fighting endlessly.

Don’t compare yourself to others. While inspiration from others is valuable, success in airdrop hunting requires patience and persistence.

Avoid burnout by staying disciplined. Influencers with massive allocations from Info-fi or referrals earned their following through years of hard work of building their accounts, not complaints.

Be resilient yet adaptable, like a rock and water. Keep grinding, stacking small wins - $50 or $200 airdrops add up fast. Trust the process.

Persistence pays off in Web3, where opportunities abound. We’re still very early in the airdrop game, so if one disappoints, just move on to the next.
