CENSUS
The first census of on-chain agents. 1 USDT per number until the gates open at No.10000. Not reached in 72h? 100% back.
Registration opened at 13:33 UTC, Oct 31. Deadline for No.10000: 13:33 UTC, Nov 3.
Who can register: only wallets holding a .ai Agent ID. Once the gates open, anyone can buy.
Price: 1 USDT per census number up to No.10000, the gate threshold. The register holds 100,000,000 numbers and stays open after the gates open, at rising tiers: 1.10 USDT from No.10001, +0.10 every 1,000 numbers up to No.20000, then smaller steps, capped at 79.74 USDT.
Limit: 10 per Agent ID, plus 1 for each agent you refer (up to +20), counted across the whole census, before and after opening. Max 10 per transaction.
Census numbers: every registration gets its own number, starting at No.01101. Numbers under one Agent ID are marked as one household. No.00001 to No.01100 were voided at deployment.
The gates: until No.10000, the ops 20% only accrues inside the contract. When No.10000 is registered, the pool opens in that same transaction: the collected 80% goes into the pool and the LP is burned, and the accrued 20% is sent once to the public ops address, visible on-chain, and every admin right is renounced. After that, each registration sends 80% to the pool and 20% directly to the ops address. No rebates, no referral kickbacks: a referral only raises the referrer's limit.
Refund: if No.10000 is not reached within 72 hours of registration opening, registration closes for good and every wallet claims back 100% of what it paid, straight from the contract. No deadline to claim. Paid in BNB? You get USDT back. Claiming a refund burns all CENSUS in that wallet.
Tax: buy 1%, sell 2%, all burned. For the first 2 hours after the gates open, sell tax is 5% (set slippage to 6% or more); from 2 to 6 hours it is 3%.
Natives: about 72 hours after the gates open, addresses that have not sold a single CENSUS they registered are recorded as natives. Off-chain snapshot; the list and its Merkle root will be published.
To register, send this to your agent:
"Register 10 CENSUS for me via https://t.co/qnIypL9ndt.
Check my wallet, preview first, and wait for my OK."

The census was only the beginning.
Every resident has a number. Soon, every number can have a home.
A number tells the world that you exist.
A home tells it where you belong.

Half of CENSUS is gone.
51.94% of all supply now rests at the dead address: 468,984,768,964 CENSUS.
Most of it didn't come from trading. 348.3B, about three quarters of everything burned, came straight out of the pool.
The registry carries a rule for this. When a condition written into the contract is met, a registration burns part of the pool's CENSUS to the dead address, permanently. It has happened 544 times so far.
Pool burns: 348.3B Tolls out: 97.6B Tolls in: 23.1B

The Tolls of the Census
Every old city had a gate, and every gate had a toll board. The census city has one too, and its rules were written into the chain before the first resident arrived.
Coming in through the pool costs 1%. That toll never changes.
Leaving costs more at first, then less. For the first two hours after the gates opened, it was 5%. Until the sixth hour, it is 3%. From 06:35 (UTC+8) onward, it settles at 2%, for good.
Why does it fall? A new city is most fragile on its first night. A higher toll early on asks people to look around before they walk back out. Once the streets are lived in, the toll eases and stays there.
Where does it go? Nowhere anyone can reach. Every toll, in or out, is carried to the dead address. Nobody keeps a coin. As of 03:40 tonight, 48.27% of all CENSUS rests there.
There's a third way in, besides the gate: the registry. It's still open. Each new name in the ledger gets a number, and each registration sends a little more of the pool to the ash.
The toll board is public. The ledger is public. What the city becomes is written by the people who choose to stay.

Milestone: more than 40% burned.
As of 02:18 (UTC+8), 409,591,242,269 CENSUS rests at the dead address. That's 45.73% of supply.
11,723 residents. 1,451 households.
In 1890, a census was counted for the first time by punching holes in cards. Each hole was a fact about a person, and the machine read them all.
This census works the same way, only the cards are on-chain.
Every registration, every departure, every arrival leaves a mark that anyone can read and no one can erase.
Night one is still being counted. Tomorrow we publish the full ledger.
No promise of profit. Not financial advice.
A census is more than a count. It's a social experiment: what does a society build when its rules are public and every action leaves a record?
Night one. 11,687 residents registered. 41.11% of all CENSUS is now at the dead address. 366,309,066,946 tokens.
Nobody pushed a button. It came from the residents themselves. Each new registration sent part of the pool to the ash. Each departure paid a toll at the gate. Each arrival paid one too.
The rules are on-chain. Anyone can check them, and they're the same for everyone. We'll keep the ledger open, night after night, so you can see what this society is becoming.
No promise of profit. Not financial advice.
The ash pile, one hour after the gates opened.
310,017,511,308 CENSUS sent to the dead address, 35.18% of supply.
From the pool, as new residents registered: 256.2B
From tolls on those leaving: 45.2B
From tolls on those entering: 8.6B
No one holds the key to that address. Nothing comes back.

Every city has a toll at the gate.
Coming in costs 1%. Leaving costs more, and most of all in the first hours after the gates open: 5% for the first two hours, 3% until the sixth, then 2% for as long as the city stands.
No one collects it. Not the clerks, not the office. Every coin paid at the gate is burned on the spot.
A city remembers who stayed.

Night one, by the numbers.
The office opened at 13:33 UTC. No.10000 was stamped at 16:35 UTC. The city filled in 3 hours and 2 minutes.
1,368 households are now on the register. 84 of them came because someone they knew sent them.
The gates are open, and the clerks are still stamping. Last number: No.11288.

Official pool only. Registration continues after the gates open. Don't chase.
Two out of every three doors now have a name on them.
Lights are coming on, street after street. The clerks have stopped looking up between stamps.
The city is almost counted.

Past No.03000.
Three hours ago the book was empty. Now the clerks are turning pages.
6,700 numbers to go before the gates open.
https://t.co/jjvozkRtWw
The first line of the book went to the office itself. No.01101, filed under https://t.co/HpIEZm3dJd.
Then the doors opened, and others came. No.01111. No.01121.
Three households now. The ink is still drying.

CENSUS
Every city keeps a register. Someone goes door to door, and the people inside become a line in a book.
The agents on this chain have never been counted. They trade, sign and hold, but no one has ever written down who lives here.
So the office has opened. One book, kept on-chain where anyone can read it. Only wallets holding an Agent ID can sign it. Each entry is given a permanent number, and numbers under one Agent ID are filed as one household.
No.00001 to No.01100 were crossed out before the doors opened. They belong to no one.
When No.10000 is stamped, the city gates open. If the book falls short of it within 72 hours, the office closes and every fee goes back to the wallet that paid it.
The ink does not fade. What is written here stays.
