Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO
One of the things I learnt recently is that for a nation to progress, the government cannot do it alone, there are innumerable citizens who have incredible talent that can change the course of a nation.
This website is an example of that and certainly more to come…this is because Peter Obi’s person simply inspires people.
I don’t think Nigerians are lax, evil, or idiotic as many seem to claim recently…I think Nigerians are brilliant, courageous, creative …but we need inspiration…
Nigerians are inspired by Peter Obi’s life, his leadership style, his business records, his family, his time in government and are willing to go out of their way to help because no single person can fix such a complex country.
We all have to chip in…so chip in today by sharing this website.
A President and the Endless Question of His Past
As a citizen of no other country, who has never sought foreign citizenship even when doing so became fashionable, my loyalty to Nigeria and my faith in her destiny remain unshaken.
Yesterday, 30th of August, being Sunday, I fervently prayed for our nation and for those entrusted with the solemn responsibility of leadership. I found myself deeply saddened by the direction in which our country is heading.
It is profoundly embarrassing that we have reached a point where a sitting President is asking a foreign court to withhold records concerning his past, particularly records relating to matters of legitimate public interest.
Leadership, in my humble view, demands the courage and humility to confront one’s history — to acknowledge mistakes, provide candid explanations where questions arise, and, where necessary, apologise and seek forgiveness. True authority is strengthened, not diminished, when a leader accepts responsibility rather than seeks to shield uncomfortable aspects of the past from legitimate scrutiny.
This becomes particularly important when questions concern educational credentials. Issues surrounding foundational schooling — primary and secondary — should not remain unresolved or be addressed primarily through legal proceedings. Nigerians deserve clear, credible, and verifiable explanations, especially when such had been submitted in the past.
My deepest concern is the example this sets for more than 200 million Nigerians, particularly the over 30 million young people in schools. The nation’s highest office should exemplify integrity, accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership.
An imperfect past is part of the human condition. What matters is the willingness to confront it with humility, honesty and deep apology, to make amends where necessary and, when circumstances so demand, to place the interests of the nation above personal ambition.
When will our political class fully appreciate that individual ambitions are temporary, while the nation endures? The Presidency is an office held for a season; the moral standards established by those who occupy it can influence generations.
Nigeria is greater than any one person, and the integrity of the Republic must always come before the interests of the individual.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
The judiciary is the reason Tinubu is in Aso Rock today. They defended Tinubu's certificate, date of birth, non attendance of primary and secondary schools and everything that's wrong about Tinubu.
The Nigerian judiciary is a smelly shit.
The coming revolution will start from the judiciary.
The CHURCH remains the true conscience of society. Just a candid splash of an underperformance appraisal to the waves & see how raucous the sea has become. You know how twisted you are to ideate that all's well with the economy?
We really need to break these chains. 2027 it is!
THE BACKDOOR IS OPEN: How APC is Entering INEC's Secret Database
The lie that INEC is independent has finally been exposed. It did not happen because a whistleblower spoke out or because of a big investigation. It happened because APC operatives are now so proud of their power that they do not even care about hiding their tracks.
To mock actor Emeka Ike because he transferred his voter registration from Imo State to Abuja, an APC apologist, Lere went online to share screenshots. But he made a big mistake. He did not just share a rumor; he shared clear screenshots taken from inside the secret, password-protected backend database of INEC.
For an ordinary person, the pictures look like normal registration slips. But if you look closely at the top of the browser tab, the web address shows https://t.co/Ne2YNhFv0f.
Let this sink in very well. This cvradmin is not a public website. It is not the place where you and I go to check our voter cards. It is the highly restricted, internal database meant ONLY for INEC ICT officials and data managers. Yet, an APC member has the password to enter inside, see a citizen's secret tracking number, check his private details, and look at internal system steps.
This shows us two scary things: First, it means INEC has completely sold out. They have handed over their secret passwords to APC boys so they can spy on citizens' data whenever they want. Second, it means INEC’s computer security is totally broken. Their database has an open door where politicians can easily enter to pack, track, and change the data of over 90 million Nigerian voters.
If you think this is just a fight between big politicians, you are wrong. If the ruling party can sit in their house, log into INEC’s backend, and track who is transferring their PVC, exactly when they applied, and where they are moving to, then no opposition strategy is safe. Your privacy as a citizen does not exist.
This explains the magic numbers we always see during elections. When a political party has access to the computer backend, they can trace where voters are moving to. They can target specific transfers and reject them, stop registrations in areas where people do not like them, and fix the election results long before the election day. By using private data to bully people, they have proved what Nigerians have been saying all along: INEC and APC are using the exact same server room.
This is a big crime under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and it threatens our national security. INEC cannot just release one useless press statement to blame "glitch." The Data Protection Commission must launch a proper investigation immediately to find out the exact INEC staff whose password was used to leak this file. Also, the INEC insiders who gave out the password and the politicians who used it must be arrested and sent to jail under the Cybercrimes Act.
The battle for Nigerian democracy is no longer just about guarding ballot boxes at the polling units. The real war is now inside the INEC computers. If INEC has given its keys to the ruling party, then a free and fair election in Nigeria is a total lie. INEC Chairman must tell the nation the truth: Why is APC managing your backend?
I remember asking where the government directed the subsidies they removed from petrol and it was crickets.
The world is currently at war and every country is trying g to make life easier for their citizens except Nigeria
Protest and block a single road.
Idiots: Why are you inconveniencing others
"You can't be inconveniencing others because you are asking for a better Nigeria."

OPEN LETTER TO THE BBC BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Delivered by hand
The BBC Board of Trustees
BBC Broadcasting house
Langham Place
London
WC1 1AA
Dear Board of Trustees,
Re: BBC article titled “Bola Tinubu did not forge his diploma”
I have decided to write to you in addition to my weekly protests at the BBC Broadcasting house and whilst I continue to make use of the unsatisfactory BBC complaint process. I am a British born Nigerian and a licence fee payer and I feel very strongly about the issues outlined below.
On 11th October 2023, the BBC on your social media platforms published an article written by Chiagozie Nwonwu, Fauziyya Tukur and Olaronke Alo from the BBC Disinformation Team. On my first reading of the article, I wondered why the BBC would provide their platform to a bunch of hacks who had one mission, which was to whitewash the clear and unambiguous evidence of certificate forgery by Mr Tinubu. This I suppose was necessary as the man is currently struggling with legitimacy following aa deeply flawed presidential election and the revelation of the extent of his criminal past by independent investigative journalists who are more focused on getting the truth out there and not propping up corrupt African despots.
I wondered why the writers reached a conclusion that no one else would have reached, considering all the available evidence. I needed to find out about the writers as I could not find any bio about who they were and what else they had written.
A quick search on social media revealed that Mr Nwonwu is a supporter of the same ruling party that Tinubu belongs to and regularly posts in their support, whilst Ms Alo works in Lagos for Tinubu's media station in Lagos, TVC. I went back to read the article again to see if this conflict of interest was acknowledged in any way, but it wasn’t. Is this now the BBC’s style? Who was fact-checking the fact-checkers?
I automatically complained to the BBC and advised other disgruntled Nigerians living in the UK, Nigeria, and other places in the world to complain. Some of those who I advised to do so told me that they don’t have any faith in the BBC as you have developed a reputation for never accepting fault. They referred to your article on the Lekki Tollgate massacre in October 2020, in which you concluded that only one person died, when there was actual video evidence of young Nigerians beibg shot by the soldiers whilst they were peacefully waving the Nigerian flag and singing the national anthem. However, I pressed ahead and complained and advised others who follow me on social media to do the same.
Not long after I complained I received a quick response from the BBC. I was initially really impressed with how quickly you responded. Well, I did until I read the generic email which I and others received in response to our complaint. The response did not address the substance of the complaint and instead misdirected it. I felt quite offended by this as it really felt like someone was trying to insult my intelligence. I discussed this with many other well-meaning Nigerians both on and off social media, and the feedback was the same.
Is this how you deal with complaints? I mean, sending out a generic response and hoping that people would be discouraged by it and not pursue it further? Also, why, knowing how important this complaint is to Nigerians at home and abroad, since the article is about the man that was declared the winner of the last presidential election in Nigeria, why did you pay lip service to dealing with the complaint fairly bearing in mind your core values. Furthermore, I can’t but wonder why going by the high number of similar complaints to mine, the BBC did not take time to give a more robust response, which deals with the substance of the complaint?
Not deterred, I complained again, and this time, I clarified what I was complaining about, giving the BBC the benefit of a doubt.
I like to be fair. Wouldn’t the sensible thing be that before anyone utters such a statement, that he checked that his president was truly a President by every intent, purpose and legitimacy? Your President appointed close to 50 Ministers, we are still counting the aids, and any right-thinking individual can tell that the cabinet is mostly a conference of charlatans, starting with the supposed Chief of Staff.
This is like saying that it doesn’t matter who the captain of a ship is, whereas history knows that Captains weather imminent storms differently.
This is like saying it doesn’t matter who the driver is for a bus full of passengers going on a journey and hoping to arrive safely and timely at a destination.
This is like saying it doesn’t matter who the CEO of a company.
And please dead the reply that the CEO has 100% resource control and the President has only 50%. Or better save it for people who believe you have it all together. The position/office of the President is definitely less free, more complex, more sensitive and more demanding than that of the CEO. This fact alone negates your silly and shallow claim.
I see that it’s been long since you have been held accountable for anything, and now as a result you are running amok and you don't even know it.
At a time when a country such as ours, one that has for the past decade by every positive growth index functioned below par and far below expectations, ridden with insecurity, incompetence, nepotism and corruption. The far most exact time when it should matter who became the President. You pretended to be neutral but admired and defended the greyest character of all the candidates, and one of the most incompetent. The One who declined every debate and dodged every single technical question. The one who just wanted to dance. The one who said workers in Nigeria had no business with the dollar as a currency.
Iyin, you are shameless sha.
And when you tasted the bitter-sour fruit of the tree of your folly, you backed down further into your farm of idiocies and said it didn’t matter really who the President is.
On your present trajectory, you are likely to be known for lies, wickedness and cluelessness.
You may have been known to have built two unicorns which is under no circumstance a small feat but this does not confer on you the right to be stupid or to sell stupidity to the public as if it were wisdom.
Naturally speaking, if you had looked at yourself you’d have seen and identified your bias.
And if you are half as wise as I believe you should be, you would have embraced the principles with which I reckon you were brought up. And would have spared yourself of this folly.
I am mild to say that what you have for Tinub is a bias. But support for a criminal is criminally. However in your case, you have said you only defended him, you did not support him, that is rich fat folly.
Folly, empty nothing.
How did you explain it to yourself? How did it make one iota of sense? The companies you built run on people systems, processes, quality control and assurance, algorithms, computer languages and mostly logic based on binary functions.
So how did it make sense that you somehow believed and pitched your tent with someone with a character like Tinubu’s. Or are you telling me you don't know that every 'genius' must run on character?
And when you discovered your folly, your strategy was to find a deeper folly to jump into.
Every once in a while within your conversations, you borrow quotes from wise men and then mix them with high-sounding words which you then proceed to dish out as though words on marble.
From your numerous publications here I have no doubts that your mind is a conflicted mess, a maze of contradictories and now you are lost in your own head.
It will be difficult for you to see that you are lost, because with two unicorns in your back pocket, and travel passes across the world you may never notice that you have not travelled beyond your unprincipled head.
You are trapped by your warped lack of guiding principles.
In case no one ever told you, please know that the unprincipled merchant and the prostitute are one and the same. Both of them can be really rich.
So you sat down one day and analysed the Nigerian complete ecosystem and you figured out that Nigeria was in a bad condition
But you same you wouldn’t stop singing and screaming in admiration of one of the players.
The player that you chose to defend is the one who is the coldest, most heartless, oldest, sickliest and most unqualified as far as all [un-bigoted, un-nepotistic and] fair indices go.
I like that you from time to time display political knowledge and history. But sometimes one would find indiscretions capable of dumbfounding any depth of wisdom especially when they come from a height of achievements such as yours.
If wealth does not buy you wisdom it should at least buy you freedom, not freedom to engage in idiocies because any fool can do procure absurdities, but freedom to say and stand with principled universal truths.
I suppose that if there is any truth in Maslow’s theory you should be self-actualizing by now. I am unbotheredly worried that you may well be on the way to destroying whatever beautiful legacy you have going on for you. Don’t take my word for it feel free to continue on this orbit and we shall see what will remain of your legacy.
The first thing a lack of principles and character does to a man is that it helps him to rid himself of tact and class.
When you wrote “Anyway - if you like cry”, you showed your hand to be a very despicable human.
When you continued and said “What is happening to Nigeria now”, you acknowledged that an evil has befallen our great nation.
However the evil is not the dictates of math, I know that folly rarely allows the foolish to speak wisdom. But “math”?! It is disappointing that you chose such a poor lexicon.
Look I will not lie to you, what you expressed is a full 360-degree persuasive nonsense.
I am happy you included yourself among the people who have consistently never gotten the fundamentals.
The first "fundamentals" is that a thief cannot build, he can steal or continue to steal, and he is most likely going to squander. But maybe he may even save and hoard, but he will never be able to build or grow anything.
Such thief will not be able to get out of himself, if he does, paranoia will not let him be, if he escapes paranoia, impatience will not let him water whatever he plants, and if he does water, lack of respect for processes will never let him weed nor see harvest.
Thus the first fundamental that you failed is Character.
And to bring it home to your context, you cannot squeeze and spread a cloth inside the rain and expect it to dry in the same rain. So you somehow thought that with a coldblooded data-driven approach nothing is unachievable, but when your folly screamed back at you, you ran into denial.
“Doesn’t matter who is President really…” and you uttered that straight out of the cesspool of foolery.
APC begs to disagree with you when they made the nomination/ticket package a total of N100M.
The APC primaries begged to disagree with you when men in their droves stepped down for the criminal, forger and perjurer that you defend.
The idea of democracy itself disagrees with you.
All the fundamentals point to the truth that we have in Aso Rock, a man who has no business being there, not by Character, not by Competence, not a mile by mandate or Votes and definitely not by qualification.
Tell me is there anything about Tinubu that inspires confidence anywhere? Except, of course, that you can count on him for full-fledged nepotism and total disregard for the rule of law.
I think you need to be reminded, that you are defending an aberration and this is the “maths”, the Dictator of Nigeria and the publisher of her mishaps.
Presidents are not supposed to be clueless.
Presidents usually don’t steal identities. They usually have names and lineages even if cross-country or cross continent.
Presidents usually would be educated and able to defend said education without dramas or SANS.
Your President is the one of subpoenas and subpoena blockades, the one of 2500 FBI et al files.
You are shameless because you already know all of these.
You want to shift the goalpost when you realise that a snatch-and-grab-it feudal lord has nothing to offer Nigeria both domestically and on the international stage.
“If only the Nigerian currency can be backed by illegal commodities like drugs", right?
Tinubu forged his certificate- Atiku Abubakar reveals at his world press conference in Abuja, today.
Interesting times ahead.. 👏

@aonanuga1956 You were either in slumber while watching the testimony or absent-minded, or too daft and senile to comprehend or too unintelligent to understand, or indeed you are simply dishonest like your master. The testimony was the final nail on the coffin of Tinubu, the MASTER FORGER.
I have never seen a “first class graduate” begging the university not to release his full academic results and transcripts.
I’ve never seen it in my life.
This is absolutely crazy.
