ALERT: Woman who got out of jail less than 2 weeks ago allegedly shoots a 12-year-old boy over a water bottle selling turf dispute in Wisconsin.
Cosetta Burrell, 33, got out of her white SUV in Milwaukee and fired 5 or 6 shots at the boy, hitting him in the leg.
1 shot hit a nearby home where several children were inside, but luckily no one was hurt.
Reports say she shot the boy over who got to sell water bottles at a certain street median.
Burrell then led police on a pursuit going up to 83 MPH, with her 4 children, aged 7-12, in the vehicle.
Burrell, who has several prior felonies including physical abuse of a child, admitted on a recorded jail call that she shot the boy and even called herself a “hero.”
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Commissioner Barry Phillips responded, saying, "Nobody in the community, nobody in the hood, thinks that somebody that shoots a 12-year-old kid is a hero… You are not a hero. If you did this, you're a zero."

OFFICER REPORTEDLY MISSES NEARLY 17 SHOTS AS BAT ATTACK CONTINUES
Bodycam footage from Meriden, Connecticut shows Officer Anthony Offiaeli opening fire as Robert Lee Jenkins III continued attacking his father with a baseball bat.
The suspect’s brutal actions remain the center of the incident but the apparent missed shots in a residential neighborhood are also raising serious concerns about training and public safety.
Does the pressure of the moment explain the misses or is this unacceptable?

Brisket is all the rage for smoking these days 🔥 But have you tried the California classic that’s stealing the spotlight? The tri-tip!
In this killer clip, watch as the pro expertly trims a beautiful tri-tip roast. Notice how they carefully pull out that pesky little lymph gland nestled right in the fat — I’m calling it the tri-tip lymph gland (or just “the gland” in BBQ circles). You gotta remove it to avoid any off-flavors that could ruin your smoke!
The tri-tip comes from the bottom sirloin primal on the cow — that triangular muscle right in the hindquarter, near the hip and upper leg area. It’s not the chest brisket (which is the pectoral muscles lower down the front), but when you smoke it low and slow like a brisket, it becomes what some call the “poor man’s brisket” or “trisket” — juicy, tender, with that amazing bark in a fraction of the time!
I always do this exact trim on my tri-tips before throwing them on the smoker. Personal tip: hunt for that small, firm gland in the seam or fat cap — pull it out clean and save the good fat for rendering into tallow. It makes your final product taste cleaner and more premium. My family can’t get enough of smoked tri-tip tacos or sliced with that perfect pink smoke ring!
If you’re new to smoking or want a quicker BBQ win than a full packer brisket, this is your move.

Was it worth it? Woman is facing more than 100 felony charges after authorities say she repeatedly used a restricted court database to warn members of a 💊 trafficking organization they were under investigation.
According to the police, 32-year-old Crystal Lawson accessed Florida's Comprehensive Case Information System (CCIS) database 106 times between January and May 2026. Investigators say Lawson searched active criminal cases, identified co-defendants, and leaked information about arrest warrants to people connected to the organization.
Lawson was originally granted access to the database while working as a Juvenile Probation Officer for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice in 2022. Although she was fired later that year following a battery arrest, authorities say her access to the system was never revoked.
Investigators claim the leaks led to lost evidence, unrecovered assets, and at least one suspect fleeing to avoid arrest. Lawson has been charged with 113 felony counts of unauthorized computer access, with each count carrying a potential sentence of up to five years in prison.
