Addressed the Convocation Ceremony of the 2024–26 batch of Indian Forest Service probationers at Forest Research Institute campus in Dehradun, today.

Congratulated the young officers as they embark on a career dedicated to protecting India's forests, wildlife, and natural heritage.

Highlighted that the officers completing their training in 2026, will be the leaders of the Viksit Bharat of 2047, envisioned by PM Shri @narendramodi ji.

The commitment, integrity, and spirit of service of the young officers will further strengthen the nation's conservation efforts and contribute to building a greener, more sustainable future.

ગુજરાતના વનોના વીર પ્રહરીને કોટિ કોટિ વંદન 🙏

ફરજ માટે પોતાનુ સર્વોચ્ચ બલિદાન આપનાર વ્યારા વન વિભાગના ટાપટી રેન્જના પરીક્ષેત્ર વન અધિકારી સ્વર્ગીય વિકાસભાઈ દેસાઈને અત્યંત દુઃખ અને ભ��રે હૃદય સાથે ભાવભીની શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પણ કરું છું.

વન સંપત્તિના રક્ષણ અને ગેરકાયદેસર તસ્કરી સામે લડતા લડતા તેમણે જે અદમ્ય સાહસ, કર્તવ્યનિષ્ઠા અને સમર્પણ દર્શાવ્યુ છે, તે સમગ્ર વન વિભાગ અને ગુજરાત માટે ગૌરવની બાબત છે. ફરજ પ્રત્યેની તેમની નિષ્ઠા એટલી અડગ હતી કે તેમણે પોતાના જીવનની પણ પરવા ન કરી અને અંતિમ શ્વાસ સુધી કર્તવ્યપથ પર અડીખમ રહ્યા.

વિકાસભાઈનું આ સર્વોચ્ચ બલિદાન માત્ર તેમના પરિવાર માટે જ નહીં, પરંતુ સમગ્ર ગુજરાતના વન પરિવાર માટે અપૂરણીય ક્ષતિ છે. પ્રકૃતિ અને રાષ્ટ્રહિત માટે જીવન સમર્પિત કરનાર આવા વીર અધિકારીઓ સમાજ માટે સદાય પ્રેરણાસ્ત્રોત બની રહે છે.

પરમ કૃપાળુ પરમાત્મા દિવંગત આત્માને પોતાના શ્રીચરણોમાં સ્થાન આપે તથા તેમના પરિવારજનોને આ અસહ્ય દુઃખ સહન કરવાની શક્તિ પ્રદાન કરે તેવી પ્રાર્થના.
