Many sleep bags have a minimum weight (around 4kg/9lb) that a baby should be before use. This isn't always displayed clearly, so make sure you check the manufacturer's recommendations before purchasing and check that it fits your baby well.

During the cold winter months, families may be worried about keeping their baby warm enough. It’s important that babies are a comfortable temperature - not too hot or too cold. A room temperature of 16-20°C is advised.
