@FortniteStatus Your matchmaking was broken for almost one hour and Fortnite Status page said everything was operational. Couldn't even invite others, how is that not noticeable there?
Ooof, all these 3 stories just reinforce how uninterested I am on those typical VC companies and the waste of time it is to pitch and try to convince others. Even on sales I mostly wait for people to come to me, motivated.
Two of our worst VC stories:
1. A Sequoia partner passed on Cloudflare because he didn’t think a woman could lead a security infrastructure company. Seriously. 🙄
2. I got introduced to @pmarca. Meeting got scheduled for a Monday, which should have been a clue. I thought it was just a casual meeting. He thought it was a pitch and brought the whole @a16z partnership team. Hilarity ensued. 🤪 At one point one of them said: “You don’t seem very prepared.” Which was true because I wasn’t. I framed the rejection letter they sent.

@DomainNameWire@brandables Sorry to hear. That is why I always use Paypal or systems like Revolut or Portuguese MBWay (create/terminate debit cards as needed).
@DInvesting@atomHQ For those that don't click image: must be at Atom for at least 30 days, so you cannot transfer there just for a specific buyer you find.
@AdamWilde_@vhsliberal Most common 2FA systems are much weaker than a reader that must confirm a physical card. SMS based 2fa being the weakest, and still widely used.
@KenLin1985 I have domains for some Indian districts, they generally receive mid 5-figure offers which I decline. Last was Koraput (1.38 million on 2011 census, imagine today).
@kwa_me@pedrouid "Portugal is actively bidding to host one of the European Union’s five co-financed AI gigafactories in Sines, with the project led by the Banco Português de Fomento (BPF). The initiative aims to establish a massive data center hub powered by 100,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs"
