Commission Member Andrii Yevstihnieiev took part in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the CECs of Albania, Moldova, North Macedonia, and Ukraine. The signing took place in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

The partnership will also include joint training activities, seminars, thematic conferences, expert exchanges, study visits, and mutual observation of electoral processes.

He informed participants that the CEC is developing proposals for legal and organizational solutions for post-war elections: the participation of Ukrainian citizens abroad, military personnel, and other categories who may face obstacles to exercising their electoral rights.

According to him, Ukraine is already engaged in extensive preparations for future post-war elections to ensure that, when conditions permit, they are held in accordance with national legislation and international democratic standards.
