@WatchMyReview Dubas has a progressive philosophy and can articulate it well. Whether you like how he sees the game you know what he’s trying to do. His failing was listening to the noise above him and perhaps media and fan base. Grittier. Tougher. Slower. Less skilled.
@WatchMyReview How many coaches in Edmonton? Is that a country club? McLellan (2015–19)Hitchcock (2018–19)Tippett (2019–22)Woodcroft (2022–23)Kris Knoblauch (2023–26) next? Do they need different players?
@WatchMyReview He's Dubas-lite and they had Dubas so we will see how the media and any troglodytes view him in a year. It will depend on how he views building a team which was hard to read in Arizona
@WatchMyReview@PierreVLeBrun AC Job somewhere in a year as a former player. Or he could go on the Babcock plan and drive around in a truck listening to country music
@sdpnsports@ToyotaCanada Gotta say, as someone old enough to follow Sundin's entire career in Toronto, not sure he was viewed like this when he played. Not sure people felt he went "Above and Beyond"
@WatchMyReview He’s a late birth 07 and turns 19 during this upcoming season. He played as an 18 year old in NCAA which is tough but 51 pts in 35 games is great. He had almost 2 points a game in WHL at 17 and 100 points at 16.He had 18 points in 16 games at 15.Pretty pretty pretty good
@WatchMyReview Just stupidity and click bait for irrelevant media. He’s been consensus 1 for a couple of years. Not to say 2 and 3 won’t be great but come on. Seth Jones and Shane Wright fell to 4 but McKenna’s body of work exceeds theirs.
@WatchMyReview@NHLRumourReport Toronto is obsessed with tearing down their stars. Even Sundin was a pariah at the end for not waiving his NTC and leading the muskoka 5
@WatchMyReview My take. Simmons isn’t credible. Most won’t talk to him. Irony is that 13 presided over the first ‘country club’ with no-trades, head of the Muskoka 5, and he’s expected to restore the culture. Was a pariah in TO media for not waiting NT then jumped to VAN.
@WatchMyReview Not sure I agree - career back up (a good one) but maybe a tandem can work there. Until the leaders take responsibility which they seem to escape, and play a more committed 200 foot game not sure they get over the hump
@WatchMyReview@PuckDaddy93@BuffaloSabres It’s not political. It’s misguided because the teams are comprised of Canadian and American players and beyond but some chant USA in NHL games between Canadian and American based teams. Buffalo was an example of embracing a neighbour. It’s a good story
