We have a visitor in head office today – meet the gorgeous Harley, a two-year-old Sproodle belonging to our procurement manager Ashley Drew. It’s going to be hard to get any work done! Just look at that face and how cute is her hi-vis!
They said the new tablets would be a bitter pill to swallow but our site supervisor Chris Spurrier has taken the medicine well and got to grips with using the new “Big change tablets” which will further improve our quality control and productivity!
Look at the latest additions to our plant department! We now have 5 of our own MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, for the not-so-familiar) and 1 concrete drum. Gorgeous aren’t they? But they won’t stay that clean for long ;-)
Our @Dandodrilling soil investigation rig and two of our @soilmecltd SF50 rigs at work on a fledgling education campus at Northstowe, Longstanton. We have a total of 4 rigs on site, helping to complete 1,372 piles – a big project!
Lee Durrant, our operations supervisor, takes a daily briefing back to nature, to a park across the road from our site in Hackney where two of our SF 65s wait to install 900mm secant piles and 450mm bearing piles.

A very big welcome goes to our very first dedicated plant trailer which is tasked with carrying all our mini rigs, mobile elevating work platforms and heavy plant to wherever they’re needed. So it’s going to be very busy! In this case it’s the @Soilmecltd SM 12 on board.
Nine members of staff upped their game in a pre-season friendly for Central Piling-sponsored Silver End, a team managed by our HSQE manager Colin Newman. Players were Steve Hadley, Sam Nicole, Ashley Drew, Simon Johnson, Ian Todd, Simon Lyons, Sam Cabbani and Jordan Partridge.
We've got @FORSonline accreditation! Started with bronze and are now aiming for gold! Hoping to be on the top level of that podium by October! https://t.co/0M5Or85xcW
Our contracts director Roger Cox and nephew Sam have notched up another win with their Central Piling sponsored rally car, this time at Bournemouth & District Car Club’s two-day event at Bovington, Dorset, where they won Class C & came 8th overall, & all that in pouring rain!
