Labour are sending mixed messages to businesses 🤔
Starmer promises to cut red tape, while at the same time briefing media about increased employer National Insurance contributions 💼💸.
We welcome moves to ease regulations, but increasing taxes at the same time doesn’t add up
Rachel Reeves breaks another promise!
Labour’s manifesto clearly said no National Insurance hikes, but now they’re spinning it, saying they “didn’t mean employers’ contributions.” 🙄 Seriously?
Do they think we’re gullible?
Another broken pledge from a party out of touch.
The first 100 days 🗓️ is historically the time when a new government should be at its strongest 💪.
It’s the window where they can harness the goodwill of the electorate ✊ to push through their agenda. 🚀
Labour’s first 100 days?
Here’s a look at their “achievements”: 👇
Stone, Great Wyrley and Penkridge MP, Gavin Williamson has been working to help find a permanent home for the temporary banking hub in Stone following the closure of the last bank on Stone High St.

It seems that the UK under the Conservatives knew that UNRWA employees had links to terrorism and presumably that’s why we withdrew funding for the organisation.
One of David Lanmmys first acts as foreign secretary was to restore UK government aid to UNRWA.
Got it 👍
We’re out of our depth on so many fronts, in places we have no idea what we’re doing, especially me, there are serious economic and geopolitical issues to be tackled, we’re cur spending and raising your taxes but we think it’s our job to determine the ticket prices for the concerts of a couple of wrinkly rock stars. Government in action.
Another Masterclass by Douglas Murrray! 🇮🇱
I have literally never seen a more eloquent, calm, and decisive presentation on live TV.
Douglas Murray just fit 100 books and 300 podcast episodes into this 3-minute soliloquy.
He completely shut down Pierce Morgan’s argument, clarifying that Hamas, not Netanyahu, is the true obstacle for peace.
He criticized Hamas for using foreign aid to build tunnels and enrich its leaders, rather than improving Gaza.
But most importantly, he explained that peace with Hamas is fundamentally impossible, as they value conflict and death, not peace and life; thus, unless Israel is allowed to decisively win, the cycle of violence will continue ad infinitum.
Thank you Douglas Murray for being the absolute most important voice in the world right now to defend Israel and the Jewish People!
@bitofstone@JackTaylorTog Are you suggesting that running a story on Gavin Williamson’s campaign to keep High St banking makes you impartial?
Have we got that correct?
@bitofstone Sure you can work out what the three interventions were.
Whats fair and neutral about publishing private correspondence in an expose type article without consent?
Completely unprofessional and amateur thing to do.
@bitofstone Comes across as very unprofessional to publish private correspondence in that way. Also, completely unnecessary, unless you’ve got an agenda.
This is also the third election in a row where you’ve made a major intervention that undermines Conservative candidates in Stone 🤔
