Ed Pien: Tracing Water is on view until November 12, 2022. Visit us Wednesdays to Saturdays, 12 – 6 pm.
1/2 On September 16, we were delighted to host a warm, lively crowd for the opening reception of Ed Pien: Tracing Water. So many new and old friends joined us, as Ed Pien led us to reflect on water’s agency while we enjoyed a durational performance by Johannes Zits.
3/3 As racialized settlers in so-called “Canada,” the Centre A staff recognize that we have the responsibility to align ourselves with Indigenous communities and their work towards decolonization.
Centre A will be open to the public on September 30th
2/3 We invite you to observe the day with us, and, together, commemorate those lost and reflect on the historical and ongoing injustices done to the Indigenous communities who have been the caretakers of this land since time immemorial.
1/3 September 30 is the annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the intergenerational Survivors of the residential school system, and the effects on their families and communities.
