๐ข Without the time and effort of volunteers, grassroots football would not exist.
We're determined to make their lives easier for zero cost, and we're already making a huge difference.
Hear from @Manchester_FA, @DerbyshireFA and @Cheshire_FA on the impact of Centre Circle ๐
Football was everything to Yasmin growing up.
But at 13, she had to stop playing because there simply wasnโt a place for her to go.
20 years later, after moving away from home, feeling lonely and wanting to find that joy again, she found her way back to football.
And instead of just coming back to play, she started creating the opportunities she never had.
Now hundreds of women and girls are playing because someone decided not to let the story end there.
This is what grassroots football can do โค๏ธ

In 2019, Luke Barrow got a call that changed everything. He flew home from Australia. His mum passed away within a week.
What followed was nine months of silence, suffering, and arriving at pubs early just to get two pints in before anyone could ask how he was.
That's why he built @TwoPintsDeep.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we're proud to announce Centre Circle x Two Pints Deep as official partners.
Grassroots football is one of the biggest gathering points for men in the UK. It felt like a natural fit to work together to make sure the right support is closer to those who need it.
More coming this summer. Watch this space.

In 2024, St Margaret's Old Boys won the Centenary Trophy. Captain Connah and vice-captain Jake didn't lift the cup alone. They invited Reg up with them.
Reg had been part of the club since almost the beginning. Welfare, first aid, everything in between. That season, he was seriously ill. But he gave everything to be at as many games as he could. Unfortunately, Reg passed away last year.
"I know that was such a proud moment for him. A culmination of so many years of effort," says @gregmclean92, who founded the club with his dad.
Greg has worn more hats in grassroots football than almost anyone. Player, referee, club founder, league secretary, @Cheshire_FA deputy CEO, now CEO of @isfafootball overseeing 360+ schools and 100,000 young players.
But when you ask him what it all comes back to, it's never the job titles. It's the people. A dad who managed the team. A volunteer who never missed a game. A group of teammates who texted back "absolutely made up for you" when he came out.
Grassroots football doesn't work without those relationships. We sat down with Greg on The Grassroots Hotline to hear the full story.

When Linthwaite FC's planning application went to a hearing at Huddersfield Town Hall, club secretary James Carter brought 50 parents to sit quietly in the room.
The moment that changed everything came from a mum who explained how her son, who has ADHD and autism, plays in mainstream football through Linthwaite FC - and that it's his only outlet to be with his friends.
Planning permission was granted. A year later, the club launched its disability football section.
Today Linthwaite FC has over 400 players, 26 teams, three disability sections, five girls' teams, and 74 volunteers - all built from a club that five years ago had 100 players and no home ground.
James has given everything to make it happen. He's also spent the last six Decembers running 10k a day dressed as Santa to raise money for local food banks - over ยฃ23,000.
When we asked him what makes the hard work worthwhile, he talked about taking 15 children from the disability section to St George's Park on a coach: "The excitement thriving off them when we drove through the gates is what makes it worthwhile."
We spoke to James on the latest episode of The Grassroots Hotline about the full journey - the vandalism, the battles, the community, and why grassroots football is worth fighting for.

Grassroots football runs on goodwill. Volunteers giving up their evenings, their weekends, their sanity.
And right now, those volunteers are juggling emails, WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets, three different apps - just to run a local team.
That's the problem we're solving with Centre Circle. One place for everything. Less admin, more football.
If you're involved in the grassroots game, we'd love to hear what's eating up your time right now.

Over the last year weโve travelled around the country filming grassroots football.
Everywhere we go we meet women and girls playing, refereeing, coaching and volunteering.
Theyโre helping drive the game forward.
Happy International Womenโs Day.

@Alexrose90 Hey Alex, thanks for reaching out. These are set by individual leagues/County FA rather than us, unfortunately. So if youโre a member of multiple leagues/County FAs, youโre likely to get multiple per week. Sorry about that. Iโll flag to the team and see if we can improve it ๐
