Strengthening digital literacy and safety in Civic internet Use.
To reach diverse communities, digital literacy efforts must be localized. This involves:
1️⃣ Language Access: Translating materials into local languages to ensure inclusivity.
2️⃣ Format Adaptation: Using audio, visual, and audiovisual formats to cater to different learning styles.
3️⃣ Community-Centered Metaphors: Using relatable analogies, like "phishing" as "fishing" with bait, to explain complex digital concepts.

Heartbreaking reality My 1st Class BCom degree from India with 16 points in PEM/ICT, once a symbol of pride, now feels like a mere piece of paper in Uganda's job market. Struggling to make ends meet despite hard work. Feeling lost & disillusioned. #JobSearchStruggles 0740657504
Part of the exhibitions at @kyambogou includes the Centres 4 Her, a mobile application designed to ease access to free post- violence and SRHR Services to Adolescent Girls and Young Women in marginalized communities @centres4her#Ug3rdVNR2024
