If you’re a young man reading this right now, pay attention.

There is a saying, “Youth is wasted on the young.” and it’s describing the fact that YOU rn have no idea how good you’ve got it, because you’re in it.

A fish swimming in the ocean doesn’t know it’s wet. It’s never had anything to contrast it against.

YOU, being young, don’t remember what it’s like being old - and squander your youth.

Right now, you have no obligations. No wife and kids to look after, no mortgage, etc - your tolerance for risk is stupid high rn AND you’re in the physical prime of your life. You have testosterone pumping on overdrive, metabolism fast as fuck, able to get away with cheating sleep, you recover like Wolverine and can basically abuse your body with little relative consequences.

So why the FUCK are you not serious?
YOU HAVE UNLIMITED ENERGY.
What are you using it to do?
What have you accomplished?

Jerking off and playing video games?

Right now the two skills you should be honing like a motherfucker are:
- the ability to resist distractions and focus
- your capacity for discipline and commitment

The reason you are a loser is because these two above qualities are completely absent in your character:

You’re a loser because you are an undisciplined person with weak commitment muscles; so you flounder around, never stick to anything long enough to see if you’re talented at it, let alone long enough for any meaningful progress to develop whatsoever. You give up at the slightest sign of struggle. You’re disorganised, your life is a mess, you constantly arrive late to everything and yet you wonder why you feel like shit and why nobody truly respects you. A mystery.

You’re a loser because you can’t focus for shit; lets not even talk about how much time you spend on absolutely useless time wasting shit every single day, your attention span is shot to shit and your dopamine receptors are completely fucking fried to the point that you genuinely struggle to focus on something for more than 5 minutes uninterrupted and you wonder why you don’t get anything done. A mystery.

If you’re being honest with yourself — you are not operating at even 5% of your potential.

Get your shit together.

Become a man of pure focus.
Become a man of utter discipline.
