For the record, the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria causes so much pain in Kano. The violent parts of the protest have overshadowed the peaceful protest in the entire state. Calling on the authorities to intervene before it goes out of control. Offices, shops, and public infrastructures have so far been attacked and vandalized. Curfew should be imposed if the violence continues.

It was a great delight yesterday as we performed the groundbreaking of some road projects under our focus on Urban Renewal and Infrastructure development;

* 82km Minna-Bida dual carriage way, co-financed by the Islamic Development Bank(IsDB), Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and the Niger State Government at Kakakpangi, Katcha LGA.

* 90km FIRS/NNPC Assisted Bida-Zungeru Federal Road Project

* 5km Lemu Township Road in Gbako, LGA.

We thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT For granting Tax Credit Scheme leading to the full financing of the reconstruction of Minna-Kontagora; Bida-Zungeru; Lapai-Mokwa; and Minna-Suleja road projects, as all these projects are of economic importance to the development of Niger state.

I appreciate the Federal Government and National Assembly delegations, National and State Party Leadership, State Assembly Leadership and the State Executive Council, Traditional Institutions, Community Stakeholders, our Development Partners and everyone who participated in the groundbreaking events.
