Mientras las redes se llenan de ruido, polémicas y noticias que duran 24 horas, un joven venezolano acaba de hacer algo que merece mucha más atención.

Se llama Luis Enrique García González y acaba de conquistar la Medalla de Oro en la XXVIII Olimpiada de Matemáticas de Centroamérica y el Caribe (OMCC), celebrada en Durango, México.

Pero aquí viene el dato que impresiona:

Obtuvo 41 de 42 puntos posibles.

Sí. 41/42.

El puntaje más alto de toda la competencia.

Detrás de ese número hay horas de estudio, disciplina, preparación y una capacidad extraordinaria para resolver problemas que no precisamente se parecen a los ejercicios de matemáticas del colegio.

Y hay algo más que vale la pena decir:

Es venezolano.

En medio de tantas noticias que nos dividen, también existen historias que nos recuerdan de qué somos capaces.

Historias que no necesitan polémica para ser grandes.

Hoy quiero poner el foco sobre Luis Enrique, porque estos logros también merecen espacio, titulares y reconocimiento.

Un joven venezolano llegó a una competencia internacional, se enfrentó a los mejores y terminó arriba de todos.

41 de 42 puntos. Medalla de Oro. Puntaje más alto de la competencia.

De esto también se trata Venezuela.

Y sí… esto también nos hace sentir orgullosos. 🇻🇪
