Everyday, another video of Sydney Gongodyo's mob killing emerges probably from different angles, different places. If this wasn't a planned murder, why the instant anger? Why the eagerness to hurt even when the mob was probably unaware of the alleged offence?
Is mob justice a response to the failure of our judicial system? A substitute for security agencies that won't protect people and property? Is it a class issue, reflecting "us vs. them" in our society?
Many questions, few answers. The public trial of Okello (Ggaba daycare) was quickly welcomed by many despite inherent flaws. Why hasn't this cold blooded murder attracted the same level of interest from ordinary people and the state?#justice4Sydney
