Today everyone’s getting it!
They removed me from the Senate Committee on Roads, Transport & Housing where I champion inclusive transport and mobility, sustainable cities, and accessibility in the built environment for the rights of over 8 million persons with disabilities as provided for in the PWD Act of 2025.
Everyday, I come to this house diligently to do my job, to execute the business of those I was brought here to represent, and I do it well even with a disability.
If this is punishment by the leadership - so be it, but one thing that people ought to know is that God has a knack for turning a bad situation into a glorious occasion! 😉 #VIP
"Sifuna has no experience" is an easy statement to make. Until we examine that experience. Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel arap Moi, Mwai Kibaki and William Ruto all had experience.
Let's now see what that experience birthed.
JOMO KENYATTA
1. Political assassinations.
2. Land injustices and massive grabbing.
3. A tribal ruling class that marginalised all other communities.
4. Kikuyu oaths of 1969.
5. Detentions.
6. Rogue police squads.
7. Nepotism, favouritism and exclusivity in government.
8. Collapse of the independence dream of national unity.
9. Marginalisation of the real Mau Mau fighters as homeguards took over.
10. Obscene income gap as the poor got poorer and the rich got richer.
DANIEL ARAP MOI
1. Goldenberg.
2. The collapse or decline of nearly all industries and state institutions; sugar, pyrethrum, cotton, ADC, AFC, National Bank, Kenya Posts and Telecommunications, etc, through shameless looting.
3. Cattle tracks for roads.
4. An insanely incompetent government of homeboys, including illiterate ones.
5. Political assassinations.
6. Detention without trial.
7. Police state that urinated on constitutional freedoms, led by rogue units.
8. Runaway nepotism, favouritism and regionalism in government.
9. Rising income gap, where the poor got poorer and rich waltzed in gold.
10. Near collapse of the economy.
MWAI KIBAKI
1. Took a massive multi-tribal mandate in 2002 and tore it to pieces with unbridled tribalism which set the country on fire just five years later.
2. Anglo Leasing.
3. Recreated the Kenyatta years of a small tribal ruling class that excluded other regions.
4. Skewed development towards his community and region.
5. Artur Brothers represented the state's use of criminal networks to run crime, even issuing them with police badges.
6. Mombasa became a global drugs' port.
7. Launched the unending culture of election theft by urinating on the will of Kenyans in 2007.
8. Government use of gangs like the Mungiki became commonplace.
9. National cohesion died under him.
10. Parts of Kenya like Migingo Island and North Horr were occupied by foreign forces.
WILLIAM RUTO
1. Nationa debt is now hugging 13 trillion.
2. Taxation without empathy has killed the savings culture and rendered payslips mere pieces of paper.
3. Forests hived off to build concrete jungles, as rivers dry in response.
4. Rogue state issues passports to rogue outfits like the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces.
5. Approximately 50,000 lies in four years.
6. Failure of the healthcare system through the dysfunctional SHA.
7. State House expenditure has hit the roof.
8. Schools capitation is a permanent crisis. Kids are eating weevils named "beans" because principals don't know how to operate with nothing.
9. Police brutality, rogue police units, kidnappings and disappearances.
10. Second coming of Moi-era looting of state institutions.
If this is the experience H.E. @edwinsifuna needs to have before becoming President, then we are happy to have a President without experience who will start on a clean slate and recalibrate the country.
We thank God.
@Lightcasttvke Our kids will be playing these clips in future, laughing and asking how tf did we get such dimwits in leadership positions. Beacause what the helly..?
