People in the comments keep referring to those standing against AI as wanting brownie points. I hope they find this.

MOST people do not care about internet brownie points, they care about art being protected as AI develops.

1. Art made by gen AI is being created based off already existing images. This will someday most likely be illegal or remain legally gray, and is the antithesis to art.

2. If we as a society continuously lower our standards, we will continue to get worse content. Creatives will genuinely die, and nothing will have meaning anymore. No one should want this, especially the consumer. If I have to wait a little longer for a game or a movie, that is FINE. Why would I WANT to spend money on a faster made, but worse product. Don’t listen to the companies and ads being pushed to you telling you AI is the future in the arts. Don’t listen to the people online who say AI is the best just because they themselves are an investor and wanting the stock prices to go up. Art is one of the creations made by humanity that separates us from all of the other animals. Stop giving up what makes us human.
