@Donperry@The_Real_Joakim @LucienWolfe111 @elonmusk Missing some empires, huh? Where's the Mali, or Ottomans, or Mughals? Or so many others for that matter?
Wonder why only those were graphed...
@BuckeyeRJB@crider_bryan@MrOH1O ... They have 3 teams in that time frame with as many national championships as Clemson and OSU and 5 who have won it... Obviously Bama is the elephant in the room but they seem less top heavy than the other conferences.
@mcgraw513@Philmonger676@MrOH1O As a final word, I do think OSU is great. But they are the only team in the conference that does anything. Look what happened to Michigan when they tried to play with the big dogs last year...
@mcgraw513@Philmonger676@MrOH1O They win those games because their schedule is easy. That's the point. And people who have a team in the SEC only defend the SEC because people from other conferences get salty about their overall success. These conversations always devolve into this.
@mcgraw513@Philmonger676@MrOH1O I only picked 20 because it's something of recent memory and a nice number. Going by CFP 3 teams in the SEC have won it. LSU and UGA are tied with OSU... I'm not sure where you're going here.
If it's about record, well again, that's the whole schedule argument.
@mcgraw513@Philmonger676@MrOH1O Won't argue for Texas A&M, they are newbies to the conference. In 20 years Florida has as many nattys as OSU. LSU is tied with OSU for 2nd with 56 players in the NFL. If they had OSU schedule their record would be better.
What good is your record if you don't win the big game?
@mcgraw513@Philmonger676@MrOH1O How are we measuring success? Because in the last 20 years they have as many national championships as OSU. They were also 13-1 in 2011 only losing the national title game to Bama.
@BiasedPartially@MrOH1O Because those teams have national championships within the past 20 years.. Florida has as many as Ohio St. In that time. Michigan, Penn St, and the rest of the big 10:
